  • Hey youtube, I'm a music producer trying to reach my dream. I know there is many producers but my music is unique. I make everything from hiphop to dubstep. Please checkout my channel and if you like what you hear... subscribe. Thank you.

  • pete, premo and dre are the best producers ever.....true geniuses

  • mpc = rap

  • Zip Disc

  • At 0:05-what is in his left hand?

  • @KSNFilmStudios floppy disc

  • @MrStewie231 Thanks! I didn't realize the video was that old, lol.

  • 0:27 hahaha!!!!

  • An exotic beat. Very nice.

  • Man everyone needs to shut the fuck up about the color of your goddamn skin. Nobody gives a fuck if you're white or black. America's got all your minds brainwashed thinking there's some sort of fucking color superiority. All this fucking color-coding. Forget that shit. It's about the music. Not about the fucking color of your skin. It's pathetic if you don't get that.

  • @itstheshaolinstyle fucking word

  • Wow sounds so cool

  • did he make the beat for the real song?

  • I respect anyone who uses an mpc. I'm so sick of everyone downloading fruity loops and making a lex luger style beat and saying they're a good producer.

  • @TheNemo71389 lol even with an mpc people would say youre not a good producer because its using someone else's instruments that they knew how to actually play. good music is good music. jahlil beats uses fl studio and makes fire beats

  • @TheNemo71389 people use those tools because they can't afford an mpc. and i give props to anyone who can make a elx luger type beat. computer software can be free, while an mpc is hundreds of dollas. you should respect good music, who cares what epople use to try and make it. let them be yo.

  • yo everyone knows that white kids use sp404s.

  • sound like background music for a porno lol

  • I love the original, but I cant stop listening to this.

  • ITS ALL ABOUT THE MUSIC . IT,S FUNNY HOW PEOPLE WANT TO BRING RACE . FOR THEY CAN CHANGE THE SUBJECT FROM THE FACT THAT HE IS GOOD AT WHAT HE DO . PEOPLE MAKE MUSIC TO UP LIFT PEOPLE . THATS WHY SOME ARTIST LOVES WHEN THERE MUSIC IS BEING SAMPLED . IT,S LIKE BRINGING THAT SONG BACK TO LIFE . JAME BROWN SAID HE LOVES HOW HIP HOP COULD TAKE HIS MUSIC . AND INSPIRE PEOPLE IN TO THE FUTURE OF MUSIC . HOW COULD THE MOST HATED MUSIC IN THE WORLD BECOME THE BIGGEST MUSIC IN THE WORLD IT,S HIP HOP !

  • Liked ^^

  • OMG I would love to get on that joint,I would murk that trak,THA Goonyz!!!

  • @tommychevybugle

    you lose.

  • OK WHITE KIDS AND DIGGY SIMMONS: MOM, I WANT A MPC2000 AND A ABLETON AKAI 6000 TOO

  • why does this crap get more hits then the orignal song...makes u wonder where society is at....

rap....now add the C, you get CRap

  • @TommyChevyBugle good onya knob end. are you from the past? sad.

  • Pete Rock is awesome! :)

  • Music is global fuck those ppl seein' music as a color.

  • since i was twelve i always wanted to bum sheep... then one day i saw one in the neer distance... i ran full pace towards it with my leathery japseye flopping in the wind. what i failed to see however was the felled tree that i inevitably tripped over...

inpaling my cock on a barbed wire fence...

the moral of the story... it aint good to be welsh

  • plzz this sound is awsome is free somewhere i wana to download this beats plzz pick up :)

  • hahahaha :D

  • ...thanks for your inpiration man....1 of the best that did it..

  • This why he's one of best out there- in the ranks of dilla and a few more...none of that BS Dr. Dre ish....

  • @dubze are you kidding? Dr.Dre is awesome, have you heard NWA's first two albums?

  • Wow, It's weird seeing this. I made a track using this song like 7 years ago. I didn't think anyone else would try it. That's what sucks about samples. Other folks can use em too.

  • The problem's that you can barely hear the melody in the final music, he placed the bassline on it, and turned down the volume of the melody... :/

  • Damn! That is good ish! I loved Love is a battlefield. This is an amazing spin on it. Talent, genius!

  • lol

  • @TSTACKPAPER your shit's raw, angels in the ozone is fucking crazy, shoot me your e-mail braa

  • Haha this beat is nothing to pete rock

  • so ill.

  • how did he get the base out of that track and isolate it?????

  • @soulman9373 Probably filtered tha loops and layered them

  • @soneoo Too bad it's true...

  • @soneoo So what if a white kid wants an MPC because of Pete Rock. It's called being INSPIRED not being a "copycat" or anything, If anything Pete Rock influences people of ALL races to buy an MPC because he utilizes the possibilities of the machine and he expands music itself. But as for the "mom can i have one" thing... that shit's funny, Lol.

  • @suckinfycho

    datpiff.com/T-Stacks-Green-Crack-Beat-Tape-mixtape.208709.html

    check my beat tape out

  • @suckinfycho well said

  • @suckinfycho There is no black or white in Hip-Hop. Started in the black ghetto, but was blossomed by everybody. I've been making beats for 25 years so I know. Some of the people who blew my mind production wise was Rick Ruben (white guy), Mantronix (Puerto Rican guy), and DJ Honda (Japanese guy). Get the point. Let's all enjoy real Hip-Hop no matter the race. But for the record, I'm a 41 year old black man.

  • @soneoo black kids: hate on the white kids for supporting most of the true hip-hop

  • @AllNatural1625 Hahahaha, I say this only because it slows down PROGRESSION, i'd be happy if they learned everything about beat production, HELL even work on the original MPCs, but everyone jumps to mpc3000/4000 and really just produce no original sound. HELL-- people think they make an offbeat drum loop and they are JDILLA... Its like bassnectar and dubstep, too many wannabees, just be natural.

  • @soneoo I agree, but it's not just white kids. It's EVERYONE trying to copy others. There's never gonna be another Dilla, man. People just need to come up with their own style. It's hilarious how you said just be natural though. check out my channel and tell me what you think, droppin a mixtape tomorrow

  • @AllNatural1625 word

  • @soneoo why white kids? i had to make my own money for a MPD24 and im white

  • @RoppanHipHop Always people who think their city is the "World"

  • @soneoo the fuck is that supposed 2 mean?? i prolly grew up in a poorer area than u, who the fuck are u to judge?

  • @soneoo so were ur beat videos at tough guy?? cuz mine are on point

  • @soneoo too bad thats not a mpc 3000

  • @soneoo -

caveman: OMG HE'S USING TOOLS TO MAKE FIRE, MOM CAN I ALSO EVOLVE??

pete rock is for the world - not for your fuckin' social status. grow up, kid.

  • @auraliztic

    co ty pierdolisz ?

  • @soneoo Some of the best producers are white! Scott Storch! the Alchemist!

  • @burntrubber11 but they aint pete rock

    or j dilla

    or primo

    or marley

    or large pro

    or tip

    or dre

  • @illest22 very true

  • @illest22 dre aint as nice as dilla 9tth or anyone

  • @TheNameBeDanya u are 15 you have no idea.....go listen to nwas old shit and the chronic and say that

9th wishes he was those guys

  • @soneoo what do black kids say when they see this?...

  • @danKelee All im sayin is pete rock and j dilla are swagger jacked left and right and people start producing solely on there styles. And i dont give a fuck black kids been tapping and banging the lunch tables makin beats its OUR MPC go ruin your guitar and make pennies at starbucks and organic coffee shop shows please

    /END

  • @soneoo Why be racist? Is every single black child a music prodigy then with their own innovative styles? ofcourse not man. I'v been tapping tables and finding different parts of the table which make diferent noises n all that shit for years, its not exclusive to black kids. Its music, its an expression, it has nothing to do with ure skin colour at all.

  • @danKelee whatever dont come to my area with your mac miller asher roth machine gun kelly MTV RIFF RAFF garbage then

  • @soneoo I'm white, and when I was in 6th grade I started sampling parts out of records I got from relatives, before I knew what sampling was or what crate digging was. However since I'm 18 now I really need a job for the MPC... lol

  • @soneoo Thats a mpc 2000xl idiot

  • @evBeats yea but white kids gotta have the best of the best

  • @soneoo mpc 4000 is the best. at least from a white kids point of view

  • @soneoo i'm a white kid , and i like Pete Rock , but wtf is this ? do you really think that i just have to ask my mom to buy one and she gon buy it ? believe me , we can't afford it , and it doesn't depends on the colour of the skin ...

  • @soneoo Sounds like most of the people who make dubstep XD

  • @soneoo Internet is nice, it's a place for everyone - even the retards can speak out freely. Must be such a relief for you, Mr. Awesome. :-)

  • @Kluriga1an Thank you for called me an Awesome Retard, society making progress!!!

  • @soneoo hip hop is life and an art, its beauty. its a way to connect to each other and tell stories. I have lived in some rough neighborhoods in my life and went to predominately black schools my whole life and we all listened to hip hop bc it was the way of life. who cares if "white kids" want to get into production, did that stop hendrix into playing guitar? no. as for the "they want best of the best" the mpc is an excellent piece of equipment for sampling just like the sp-1200.

  • @soneoo even rich black kids, don't hate because white families go out to work for an income.

  • @soneoo Haha its a 2000xl dumbass

  • @soneoo racist

  • @soneoo keep stupid

  • @Maxairistokokkalo Keep Not Providing Anything To Music, Thanks Brosef

  • fucken dope. i need this beat lol

  • god i wish i heard things this deep on a level. I don't hear it as clear as he does- that must be amazing ---DJ Oxygen

  • this dude is my god damn hero/role model

  • vintage old school!

still dope. still fresh, old school never gets old

    simply great!

  • I sampled this song before. I don't even want to work on that beat anymore.

  • @ dj1slandboy simply true :)

  • Amazin Sounds PR The Man!

  • I've done my own beat sampling "Love Is A Battlefield" by Pat Benetar. Did it different though. Put a few voicesamples in the hook, so you jus need to write the verses. Prolly would called it "We Were Young". If somebody want's to hear it holla at me on YT, so I will post it on my channel.

  • Epic beat! I wonder how long it took em to program all that into his mp. That's hours of chopping, truncating , time stretching, and sequencing!

  • Epic beat! I wonder how long it took em to program all that into his mp. That's hours of chopping, truncating , time stretching, and sequencing!

  • That's how you turn a fuckin' sample into hip-hop form! Us old heads need to come out retirement and show these young cats how its done. Thanx Pete Rock!

  • If anybody can find the full instrumental of this upload it on youtube or send me a link to it. I need this mad beat. If you know where I can buy it message me.

  • Love the part where he sings love is a battlefield.. classic

  • wow

  • awsome.... wish hip hop today was still like this..............death to commerical bubble gum bs, we need to bring back the true essense of hip hop

  • The problem with todays music is that when some genre is becoming popular its usually because most listeners(fanboys/girls) aint know shit about music and just support shitty music because some one else tell them its great.

Then when they realize what kind of crap they are listening to they drop all of it and bye goes the genre.

Now this is just pure music with no wannabe popular gimmick behind it so i like it.

    keep music real!

  • Damn. Pete Rock is a GENIUS.

  • GOTDAAAAAMN that shit was ill got me so hyped I wanna kick my mom in the face!

  • I met Pete Rock and shook his hand Monday..

(I met DJ Premier as well)

It was such an honor meeting such legends.

    Thanks for the vid!

  • People think making these type of beats is easy.

    In reality, it's quite sophisticated.

  • so he built the bass line or it was a sampled bass line?

  • great video pete rock rocks!

    Big Props my man.

  • Was this beat ever used for anything?

  • @JCThompson1 CL Smooth - Love is a battlefield.

  • Chek out my beats underground shits oldschool boomboom BAP!

  • stupid cunt

  • Simply Amazing. If there were more producers like Pete Rock, hip hop has a chance of staying alive.

  • @dj1slandboy REAL hip hop... you fogot that word real....real is hanging on with its teeth i reckon all the dope real emcees need to hang in there keep workin at it i think more an more people are starting to come around only the word is spread so easily and the BIG more famous rappers nowadays really call the trends n the shots so they should wise up stop bein so greedy and do shit from the heart!

  • @dj1slandboy the runners are better

  • @thequaiyim the runners? better than pete rock? really?

  • @delacroix340 YEA

  • @thequaiyim WTF them corny ass dudes from Orlando ? Better than Pete Rock ? How old are you 16 ?

  • @thequaiyim idiot

  • @dj1slandboy

homeboi, peep Bobby Garcia's album "RapEnomics"

  • @dj1slandboy

    Noob

  • @dj1slandboy I wouldn't say hip hop is dead. As long as the original hip-hop is in the air it's not that it is dead. The problem is, the newer music is so loud ( so over-played) that the older music is not even heard (not played) and the ones who would carry the music with them through generations are constantly listening to shit. lol

  • @LiLJAM3Z exactly that's the problem and when you try inform them or ''school them'' they jus plain ignant

  • @dj1slandboy HIP HOP IS alive but there are two kinds HIP HOP and HIP POP

  • @dj1slandboy... my friend understand hip hop is not dead it is a way of life... what you r referring to is the art of rap which potrays hip-hop which my friend is not dead but mearly been comercialized...

  • @dj1slandboy the crazy thing is many ppl would argue that hip hop has never been better so i guess its ur definition of "hip hop" right? so

  • @dj1slandboy Hiphop lives .. You jus gotta believe

  • @dj1slandboy pete rock is a legend and one of the best producers fo sure.. but hip hop is ALIVE and HAS BEEN ALIVE and will ALWAYS be ALIVE! there's a lot of dope ppl in hip hop still.. now i jus try to eliminate all the bs.. i don't listen to the radio or watch mtv. bet. vh1.. i just keep listening to all the real ppl in hip hop.. but it does kill me to see little kids. teenagers listening to garbage.. but hopefully it's just a phase. but HIP HOP WILL NEVER DIE!

  • Legend at work!

  • What a Master Mind he has!! OMG!!!! thats all I can say!!

  • pete does lil changes 2 the samples but with huge impacts

  • what a legend.

  • @funktuall Word.
