  • I wonder if this came off an LP. I have a couple of her LPs from 1970 and the sound is so clear and powerful. Lovely songs, thanks for posting!

  • I agree with you Kitzi; the 'singers' that appear on Idol (or X Factor as it's called here in Britain) aren't a patch on talent like this. In those days you actually had to work hard to make it in the entertainment industry. That, plus a little luck. It seems that many people today want instant fame without having to pay their dues.
