The switch was a sad one. I understand that the ratings began to drop but when WWF in 96/97 had low ratings they kept on going. WCW should have been sold to Bischoff and we could of had something because wrestling now days sucks!

Back in these days with such ferocious competition you had guys in the mid card of both companies like Val Venis, Malenko Saturn etc who would be multiple champions if they peaked today. Quitting is not something i said, what my example was that when WWF was good it toke some long long time till someone got a break as to now anyone getting it.

Does anyone else remember the time Jericho decided to read all of his 1004 holds on air? After saying Arm Bar 3 times in the first 3 min they went to commercial break. When they came back on air, he was at around hold 300 and he said Arm Bar. I laughed so hard. Chris Jericho will always be one of my all time favorites.

He won't. Sting clearly said in a video he won't consider being WWE. After seeing how WWE treated ECW/WCW wrestlers, he's very against joining WWE. He doesn't have anything against WWE but he knows he won't be utilized as great as he is elsewhere. He knows it could damage his legacy, his career. He's remaining true to himself for the fans and by joining WWE, that would be compromised.
If CM Punk and Jeff Hardy can be main eventers on Raw and Smackdown, Christian certainly can as well. I think Christian is a hugely under rated talent

Outsider I somewhat agree with you. It just wasn't Jericho's time in WCW to get pushed, when you had Goldberg, Sting vs. nWo, Nash & Hall, Jericho didn't fit in that picture. Not taking anything away from Jericho because we all saw his talent and exposure in WCW, just not the push due to wrong timing. BUT, what makes Jericho such a star, is his whacky charisma. I mean sure now he isn't, but from late days in WCW, to about 2004, He was hilarious. Mix that with his skill, and you get success.

AJ can't go over all the time. You have to consider logic (seeing as Nash dwarfs AJ), and you also need to build up the heels for the faces to get more over. But I agree, the MEM has been dominating for too long. That's not their fault though, it's Jarrett and Carter's shitty booking (most of it actually isn't Russo).

Nash is actually in the best shape of his life according to him, and for a guy who's almost 50, he's in great shape. He is limited, he's always been limited, but he knows it and can work around it and usually hide his weaknesses. His matches with AJ, Joe and also his match with Jarrett back at Against All Odds 2005 were very entertaining. Not 5 star classics but they did their job.
I don't mind Smackdown, it's my least hated WWE show.

You should name names, not many people can finish a match with a broken neck or a torn quad. Also keep in mind the neck surgeries that Angle or Edge for example got weren't as well known back in 1997. I don't count Triple H because he's done nothing prior to wrestling other than inject steroids into his eyeballs. Nash has had knee problems dating back to his basketball days, that's why he's so "slow". He still does his job fine though.

He won't. Sting clearly said in a video he won't consider being WWE. After seeing how WWE treated ECW/WCW wrestlers, he's very against joining WWE. He doesn't have anything against WWE but he knows he won't be utilized as great as he is elsewhere. He knows it could damage his legacy, his career. He's remaining true to himself for the fans and by joining WWE, that would be compromised.

Outsider I somewhat agree with you. It just wasn't Jericho's time in WCW to get pushed, when you had Goldberg, Sting vs. nWo, Nash & Hall, Jericho didn't fit in that picture. Not taking anything away from Jericho because we all saw his talent and exposure in WCW, just not the push due to wrong timing. BUT, what makes Jericho such a star, is his whacky charisma. I mean sure now he isn't, but from late days in WCW, to about 2004, He was hilarious. Mix that with his skill, and you get success.

Neither Rick or Curt can say that.
Jericho had more drawing power, does he now? Hard to say, wrestling's on a decline and the 'E's roster is weak at best.
Jericho's wrestling ability is up there with Rude and Hennig too, but I'll agree on one thing, Hennig and Rude are better stars than Jericho, but they don't fit the current mold of American wrestling, and thats why they both fizzled out after the early mid-nineties

He had a cult following in WCW, and still does today. But he's never had a mainstream following, he's never been that marquee star like Hogan, Warrior, Stone Cold, Goldberg, The Rock, Mick Foley etc.
The only reason why he was the first undisputed champion is because Austin and Rock were on their way out, and Triple H was injured.

AJ can't go over all the time. You have to consider logic (seeing as Nash dwarfs AJ), and you also need to build up the heels for the faces to get more over. But I agree, the MEM has been dominating for too long. That's not their fault though, it's Jarrett and Carter's shitty booking (most of it actually isn't Russo).
To be fair though, WWE is doing the same. Triple H is still keeping guys down. He wouldn't even do the job for Orton at Wrestlemania. Both companies fucking suck, ROH rules but.

Nash is actually in the best shape of his life according to him, and for a guy who's almost 50, he's in great shape. He is limited, he's always been limited, but he knows it and can work around it and usually hide his weaknesses. His matches with AJ, Joe and also his match with Jarrett back at Against All Odds 2005 were very entertaining. Not 5 star classics but they did their job.
I don't mind Smackdown, it's my least hated WWE show.

You should name names, not many people can finish a match with a broken neck or a torn quad. Also keep in mind the neck surgeries that Angle or Edge for example got weren't as well known back in 1997. I don't count Triple H because he's done nothing prior to wrestling other than inject steroids into his eyeballs. Nash has had knee problems dating back to his basketball days, that's why he's so "slow". He still does his job fine though.
