  • I wish they had fought Shredder and Tetsu (whatever his name is) in the 2nd one. That would've been epic!

  • I love mikeys part at 0:38 lol!! GoD I LOVE BEING ATURTLE!! :D

  • I love how Leo didn't hold back in this fight and actually cut Shredder!

  • watchin this as a kid it was my favorite scene.. and it still is at age 25 :) badass!

  • One point I saw somebody make about this fight scene before, which gave it some cred I never realized, was how Shredder effectively takes down the turtles with very few movements. The fight isn't just about watching everyone hack away and spin around each other constantly. It also shows a bit of character, with the young anxious turtles actually fighting more aggressively than the villain (and being punished for it).

I just wish there were more fights with Shredder from the movies!

  • Shredder was his baddest in this movie, every other version including the comics he is the ultimate pussy, ranking up there with cartoon versions every 80's toon villian. Shredder was saved by this moment.

  • they don't have music in movies like this anymore...classic!

  • WORD!!!!!!!

  • if you read the comic, leo beat shredder, the movie just change ending but still good tho

  • @weaponx22001 yup they had to change it cuz it was too violent for kids... if they kept it the same as the comic book it would have been rated R.

  • name of th song please

  • name of the song?

  • Only the Fearless Leader was able to even put a dent in the powerhouse Shredder.

  • good old times

  • ".....where's Splinuh?"

  • @thewarrior46 "So, the rat has a name? ...it HAD a name..."

  • @bunnehboi1985 Rggghhh.......YOU LIE!!

  • @thewarrior46 ...Do I? >=D

  • Best fight scene in the history of movie? Hardly...awesome? Definitely. The music that they play on this scene just adds to the epicness of it (is "epicness" a word?)

  • Oroku Saki! ....

  • Promulgated Saki!

  • SHREDDER!!! FOOT CLAN! Man, I wish these movies would just be Honest And Real about shit. If it was just 4 turtles and a rat against an Army of Foot Clan Ninjas, Be-Bop and Rocksteady, AND Master Shredder, they woulda got they asses HANDED TO THEM! Shredder is a BEAST!!!!

  • @DaTBoiiReMy If it went your way the turtles & splinter would be killed within 5 minutes and the movie would be a grand total of 8 minutes long... is that really what you wanted in lue of this awesome tmnt film? Absurd! Not to mention bebop & rocksteady weren't even in the movies & the foot clan were a bunch of punk kids. Shredder was the only real threat, & it took all 4 turtles + splinter to take him out, so yea. I'd call that being pretty "honest and real about shit"

  • we figure out the song that's being used here?

  • yo i farted

  • As much as I love this movie, I have to say that They Live had a much better fight scene.

  • Leo was the only Turtle that even put a dent in the Shredder

  • The opening shot with Shredder turning around is so fucking badass. That's real cinematography right there.

  • OMFG

  • What is the song? Its so epic

  • More like best movie in the history of movies

  • can someone tell me where i can find the song?

  • Its not the best fight scene in history, but when I was 8 it was. Nowadays I mostly just love it because Shredder gets portrayed as the fucking badass he was in the original comics.

  • well the power rangers are way more dramatic

  • Leonardo is the best!

  • wow the fights didn't really age well.. the rest of the movie's still good stuff

  • @gc3k Well, it depends on how you judge a fight scene. This fight scene in particular was difficult from the get go simply because the actors in the suits were pretty much fighting blind (where's Mr. Miyagi when you need him?) But also, these days fight scenes have a very choreographed feel to them (i.e. The Matrix or the Star Wars Prequels) whereas this fight had a bit more grit to it. Though the moves are rather basic I don't think the drama of the sequence is hurt at all by fighting itself.

  • @mngentryminutes left). I'm not asking for ultra stylish fighting like modern movies, but the fighting almost looked like a Power Rangers fight. it was definitely handicapped by the heavy suits, and that's what makes it look stiff and choreographed. it's impressive when you mull over the technical handicaps, but it kills my disbelief.

  • @gc3k

Fair enough. But at least now we have the skilled choreography of CG ninja turtles to look forward to...wonder how that's going to turn out.

  • i agree one of the best fight scenes ever.

  • .....You're kidding right?....

  • 0:41 my fav part in the movie

  • This film needs a remake now but more violent

  • wow, i'm so sorry for the people who disliked this, because they'll never understand true awesomeness.

  • @ireip13 It's an awesome fight scene, but there have been better ones. Take Bruce Lee for example.

  • god i love being a TURTLE!!! 100% SCENE!

  • ухахааа))))

  • 1st TMNT movie was the best.

The reason the 2nd & 3rd movies were toned (or as some of us say dumbed) down & the turtles never (or at least barely) used their weapons was because of a bunch of (as I like to call them, whiner baby) parents were crying out that the 1st TMNT movie was too violent.

TMNT is better darker & more violent (with or without some humor most often provided by Michelangelo).

  • This is a joke....right?

  • hahahahaha! lmao!you mean:''THE WORST FIGHTING SCENE EVER''...

  • At one part Leonardo is using Raphael's Sais, hahahaha. 0:24

  • :04 I thought that last shot said they'd 'all' take 'em.

  • the music makes the fight so much more hardcore!

  • right now alot of movies get a gritty remake...TMNT does need that

  • @huffcustom

I always felt this movie did a pretty good job of balancing its original darkness with some fun. Rather than rebooting this one they should redo the 2nd one minus Vanilla Ice and destroy the third one all together.

  • this movie and scene was soooo EPIC best TMNT movie ever

  • HELLAAA YEAHHHH I LOVE BEING A TURTLEEEEE that movie kicked SOOOO much ass and yers that last fight scene gives me da chills iw ish i was a turtle that was a ninja hell ya drink on peeps

  • You fight well, in the old style...

  • @MammaleousMaximus best line in history of movie.

  • Damn Straight!

  • I've always wondered why they chose turtles. I mean, they aren't exactly the picture of agility... Like, why didn't they go with Teenage Mutant Ninja Red Ass'd Baboons? Woulda made more sense...

  • @brybry19871987 LMAO!!!

  • damn, shredder is such a badass.. he schooled all the turtles. even leonardo! :(

  • @owqeifjaq Raph was the most skilled though.

  • man i love being a turtle. i wish i can find one of the foots old outifts they look cool and fun to wear

  • Leo's the only one that gave ol' Shed Head a run for his money. He Stabbed 'em about 3 times

  • Im totally agree, with that

  • goosebumps everytime i watch it

  • I wish The Shredder was my daddy :D

  • @SeverithMantium why haha

  • @Biznit85 So we can make TURTLE SOUP -shakes fist in air-

  • this scene "still" gives me the chills.. in a good way! the music, the look and the fight scenes. beyond awesome !

  • i remember watching this as a kid, and when this fight scene came on, i went crazy!!!!!!!!!!!!! best fight scene in any movie, ( i think )

  • I love how they're fighting so hard for their master.

  • A scene that blew my mind when I was 8 and still holds up well. I never took the Shredder seriously growing up on the toons because he was always a comical dumbass, but after this I read the comic books and realized he was always supposed to be badass.

  • why didnt donatello use his staff?

  • EPIC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I love TMNT, but there is no way in hell this is the best fight scene in cinema.

  • @KeeSomething for its time i believe it was

  • @Biznit85 Well, that's you opinion I suppose, but I highly suggest some Jackie Chan or Bruce Lee movies.

  • @KeeSomething in your opinion it's not, but to many it is. Nowadays this stuff would be all CGI and you can't compare real action to CGI. That alone gives it more merit to being the best fight scene ever . . . IMO.

  • lol running turtles

  • cud do this in my backyard lol

  • GOD I LOVE BEING A TURRRRRRRTLEEEEEEEEEEE

  • legend

  • All you guys are talking like TMNT was supposed to look real. It was an animated movie. It's like saying you could tell Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs were fake.

  • Epic fight scene and l agree l didn't like TMNT not because it was in mediocre CGI but it was such a boring ass film for a Turtles movie, the only scene that got us going was the Leo vs Ralph fight.

I prefer these puppetry suits because you can really appreciate the effort these guys made with the stunts and fight choreography rather than watching a load of eyewashing special effects.

  • i love the ninja turtles ...and im 24 years old and not ashamed to say i own the movie..thats right.

  • @brittbo2006 Nothing to be ashamed off ;) Turtles are freaking nostalgic. The other movies are pretty shitty though, this one's legit.

  • Oh thanks for the best fight scene

  • 40 seconds on movie heaven right there

  • Damn ralph is a fucking gangster,he straight out tried to take shredders head off with that kick..lol

  • lolz

  • thats why Leo's the best, the only one quick enough to slice the shredder open. as a kid i watched this scene over and over. still love it at 30yo

  • the best sh it i have ever seen so far in my life and im 88 years old

  • 110% agree with the uploader, Shredder kicking turtle ass and taking names.....it don't get much better!!!

  • I love this scene. It shows you, even as good as the turtles are...shredder is just so much better. I mean he picks them apart one by one with ease. i don't know what happened to shredder it the other movies. he just wasn't the same.

  • My favorite movie.

  • Heeeeee ^_^

  • This is back when they knew how to make movies. Back when they hired real martial artists to do fight scenes. Not computer graphics artists. The more realistic it is, the more entertaining.

  • I thought turtles were slow...

  • Not only was a well done fight, it was a really hard one with the turtles suit it was probblably hard to fight this well.

  • wow, that was the best one indeed. im speechless

  • You can sense the desperation in every move, a powerfull scene!

  • They talk like sock puppets XD

  • this is this is worst fight scene ever

  • i love how shredder never gave them an inch....as tough as the turtles fought, they never made him retreat at all!

  • @mvgalardi ...because they fought mad. you can never fight good that way.

  • i used to jump up and down on my bed as a kid watching this scene. I still do.

  • Love the nod to The Empire Strikes Back, when Leo damages Shredder's shoulder, like Luke does to Darth Vader. The choreography kicks ass in this scene, but Leo vs. Shredder at the end is more than kick-ass - it's an experience!!!!

  • GOD I LOVE BEING A TURTLE!!!

  • i heard that their weapons actually suite their personality.

  • o god..........

  • Notice that Leo is the only one to get a hit in, I love em all but this is why Leo is the leader. He is able to go that extra inch, even when they all fail miserably.

  • Amen, man.

  • Best... movie... EVER.

I watched it on a big screen just last week... life is good forever, as long as this movie is around.

Vote "Doc" Dave Koontz for President!

  • If ANYONE knows where I can find the song used for this fight scene (it was also the song used during the fight scene in the antique store), PLEASE message me! Thanks very much!

  • @Scverb2 it's called Shredder's Suite from the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles the movie soundtrack

  • I have it on cassette, it's called "Shredder's Suite" by John du Prez. A masterpiece!

  • Well Said!

  • REALLY!!!

  • love the music. i always have for some reason

  • LMAO!!

This literally had me laughing for a while as I watched the clip.

  • Awesome fight scene and movie. if you dont like this your gay.

  • They didn't think they needed to do so thats way. The idea was never in mind because they never met him before.

  • y didint they just all attack him at the same time?

  • That's what I thought about Kill Bill.

  • Yup, one of the best of all times. Its not what is being done, it's who is fighting. The characters are more meaning full. The Shreddder owns, plus the music is cool.

  • it was a freakingjoke holy crap ya'll are retarded to take it so seriously

  • TURTLE POWER!!

  • Technically everyone thinks of what you just said, soo... he is the original one. lol

  • lol ur right

  • lol tmnt...how original? sure this isn't the best fight scene. But the ones you said are some mainstream action movies....how original

  • ur right, but they have crazy battle scenes, and kick ass music, are you sayin tmnt has better fight scenes then the matrix?

  • This turtle fight scene's better than the Matrix. The music was Intense. You can just in Real time watch the Shredder Kickin they ASS and step by step watchin each how they individually fucked up and got left open for the flip. I kick my little brother's asses All the time usin the Shredder technique. I'm fina remake this whole movie in Animation but keep this whole fight scene the same.. yeah...Turtles aint use no wires. Ernie Reyes Jr, Man.

  • @kegedemorrow this is in no way shape or form better than yuen wo ping

  • Kill bill=shit flying daggers =very shit starwars =ok lord of the rings =very very shit terminater =good matrix =compleat and utter poop

  • what ever

  • u cant be serius

  • The reason why Shredder got hit because he miss-interpreted that side swipe,if you look he tried blocking but Leo swung wider by random so that was a luck hit.Shredder is pretty damn good here.

  • Agreed, this scene rocks, should have been longer, but still kick ass.

  • I really missed to see Shredder fighting in Turtles 2. That's why the second movie is inferior to the first one.

  • the way shredder fights, man that is awesome!

  • how do I find this theme! haha

  • ... You're kidding right?

  • Raph went all in with that jump kick to the head. Doesn't look like he ever regained his footing.

I think this fight is proof that Leo has the overall best fighting ability, with weapons at least.

  • ohh definitely, leo would've tagged shredder twice if it wasn't for his armour blocking the 1st katana strike, i bet if he didn't have that armour leo 50/50 might have just won

  • ...actually i take that back because shredder was just testing them the whole time and just underestimated leo in my opinion.. cause i remember he was gonna kill leo if they didn't give up the weapons...shredder's a bad motha....

  • It's pretty impressive to watch, considering they're doing all that in those bulky and heavy costumes.

  • Hahaha. Yes.

  • i love that turtles!!!:)

  • lol

  • dude you do get this was a joke right?

  • wow. turtles.

  • LOLOL OMG this was not wat i was expecting after watching matrix clips

  • fuck you!

  • amazing movie, i could nto imagine fighting in one of those suits. not the best fights ever but legendary for sure

  • you sarcy bastard, lol.

  • So who agrees with me that those puppets look a thousand times better than CGI ever could?

  • I agree 200%

  • @RonixEnclave OHHHH stop insulting James Cameron LOL

  • @RonixEnclave

Quit possibly the most ignorant comment I ever heard hahaha. If those movements look better than CG.. you are truly delusional my friend.

  • @PDFOUR If you look at Star Wars and look specifically at how Yoda changed from Puppet to CGI, it's clearly easy to tell that the puppet looked more realistic. Or the orginal T-Rex from Jarassic Park vs Jarassic Park 3. Computer Generated Graphics like an authentic quality that cannot be fully realized yet, if ever. Puppets however can be more restrictive. I was merely stating the dependence on just CGI is wrong. There should be a combination of the two. Because the CGI TMNT sucked.

  • @RonixEnclave shut up

  • @RonixEnclave Specifically I think that CGI works great for scenes that are further away and require more movement of the character. Where with close-ups, you need animatronics with realistic looking skin. Also, you'll notice they'll mess with the whole scene to fit the CGI character in that's why there's so much 'blur' effect in the new Star Wars movies. They couldn't make Yoda look real without making everything slightly blurry.

  • @RonixEnclave They aren't puppets, they were actors wearing turtle costumes.

  • @WheelsRCool They were also puppets. How do you think their mouths move?

People stick there hands up puppets but they are still considered puppets

  • @RonixEnclave god bless the Jim Henson Company, who know how to put soul into a costume or puppet.

  • @RonixEnclave 100% agree with you.

  • pwnage. i watched this scene so many times when i was a lad. ahh the wonders of youtube

  • For a kids movie, that fight scene was epic. I'm almost ashamed to say it got me a little pumped up.

  • It got everyone pumped up!
