Gamecube was my favorite console last gen. I was basically engaged to it from 2003-2006. All I played. My PS2 collected dust. I now have a Dreamcast and Xbox and I'd rank them GameCube, Dreamcast, PS2, Xbox but I like them all a lot.

i got the promtional zelda disk that has all the zelda games, for 5 dollars at a yard sale, and its in perfect condition, with original cover, booklet, and the disk itself, soo worth the money, its hard to find those..

@FuyuAkiWorld Despite the dreamcast being in the last generation of games from a technical standpoint, most of the games that came out for it really belonged in the ps1 era of gaming.

Hey craig :) i know what you mean when you say it's tough to find gamecube games once you sell them, i had to do the same thing and when searching for some of my fav games they were way more expensive too. glad your also a fan of enternal darkness, it's in my top 10. and i loved the interactions with the gameboy advanced with the zelda games, that was a really nice touch.
I'm almost surprised to see Amazing Island in your collection. I remember when it came out my cousin told me about it, and we were really into spriting and stuff at the time. I think the game is actually quite good. You actually get to draw each body part and everything (much like Drawn to Life, but in 3D space) and you can unlock a whole slew of items to attach to get the look you want. I loved that game fora while but haven't played it in years now. I would try it out if I were you.

You don't only need game boy advances to play those multiplayer games; you'd also need four gamecube-game boy advance cables, which sucks. If Four Swords Adventures is anything like the GBA Four Swords though, it's worth it. I had so much fun playing Four Swords with my friends back in middle school.

I hated the Gamecube but not as much as I hated the PS2. In fact I wasn't too much into gaming last gen because none of the systems really interested me. I owned an Xbox but really the only thing I played on it was Halo and maybe a few other things here and there. I really got back into gaming heavy when I got my 360.
Awesome video -- Gamecube was such an underrated system last gen. There's not really a bad game on that system. It's just that people were expecting a LOT with Zelda, Mario, Starfox, Metroid, etc. instead of enjoying the games as they were. Super Mario Galaxy would have pushed the Gamecube to the max (I think it would be FOUR discs big!) but that's just my opinion.

Fun Fact: sega actually teamed up with nintendo to help design the gamecube and nintendo wanted to fill the void the dreamcast had left so all the games released for the gamecube were intended for the dreamcast!!!! now you know =)
@joshbot360 I don't believe that's accurate, actually. Though, Nintendo and Sega did work together Namco to create the Triforce arcade board, which was based on Gamecube architecture. But the Gamecube itself would have been in R&D while Sega still officially supported the Dreamcast.

Sounds like your ps2 experience was a lot difference than mine. Bought it on release day and still works perfectly. I wouldn't trade it for anything. Except for one certain person.

I hated the Gamecube but not as much as I hated the PS2. In fact I wasn't too much into gaming last gen because none of the systems really interested me.
