  • DOCTOR OCTOGONOPUS, BLAAAAAAAAHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    0:20

  • where can i find the plans for this?

  • @hello34567890 Only in my head, unfortunately. However, you can learn a lot more about potato cannons at spudfiles dotcom

  • Impressive but you need to make the barrel more rigid, that shit might snap.

  • @marffy30 Fixed that long ago by strapping a 2x4 under the barrel. Then I switched out the barrel for a 3" one and I'm shooting canned food from it now. Check my channel for those videos.

  • that thing is HUGE! i have a smart car, can barely fit a 5 foot hunk of PVC in my car (well, with the rear window closed)

i got some freak rainbird valve, was thinking of a pneumatic spudder. but combustion seems to be easier and more portable. i removed "click and pray" with a 150,000V stun gun ignition system, i'll make a vid of that soon. kicks ass...

  • I have a Buick, and it's no more useful than your Smart for hauling that thing around. Fortunately, my parents don't care if I stow it in their garage, and they have a big property with a large chunk of woods behind to fire into. I'm out there about every other weekend, so it gets plenty of use. As for buying supplies, I usually borrow Dads pickup for that. My valve is a Rainbird PGA200, BTW. 2" porting, 2 in, 1 out.

  • I actually almost got in some trouble for blasting the old combustion. It scattered PVC chunks all the way across about 60feet of lawn and across the creek beyond. I found the old screw cap on the far end of the bridge. Well, most of it. I never did find about half of the 4"x2" bushing from the barrel end of it. It must have been completely obliterated when the larger part of the screw cap was blasted down the length of the chamber and out the other end.

  • Is this compressed air?

  • Yep. 120psi from a DeWalt compressor, fired with a modified valve originally made for in-ground sprinkler systems.

  • holy crap!
