you know how people say the '90 band for david was the worst? well, the '78 band just took the cake as the worst. at least the '90 put some effort into it.

I dont really like the way he sings "Inspirations have i none - just to touch the flaming dove". It's not the same as the recording and not as good:) The rest is brill though (apart from the backing singers!)

Not even close to the album version in quality; different band personnel and Bowie persona. I don't know who is playing guitar, but he ain't Mick Ronson!  I was fortunate enough to have seen Bowie in the Diamond Dogs tour. I enjoy and appreciate him even more today.

@LesbianVampireLover That's Adrian Belew (and Carlos Alomar on rhtythm guitar) - not Mick Ronson, but both awesome guitarists! But I agree - Diamond Dogs is my all time favorite!

Roger Powell's keyboard solo kick ass. I love his expression while he plays the glissando at the end.
