  • LMAO!!!!!! "There's enough nigga in here to make a Tarzan movie"!!!! Red Foxx is a legend!!!

  • he did not say 'NIGGER' he said 'NIGGA' AND AS QUET AS IT'S KEPT WE ALL JUST DIFFERENT SHDES OF BLACKNESS... WVEN THE MAN THAT CALLS HIMSELF A WHITE MAN.... AT ONE TIME, THOSE THAT PAST DOWN THE TRUTH A FAR AS THEY REMEMBER IT. TLD IT TO US AND WE CALLED THEM GREY BOY & NOT JUST BECAUSE THE FOUGHT FOR THE CONFEDERACY.... BUT I DON'T EXPECT ANYONE THAT IS NOT EDUCATED IN THE TRUE ORIGINS OR MAN, CREATION AND ART, TO KNOW OR UNDERSTAND WHERE THEY COME FROM OR WHO THEY ARE...

  • Maravilloso, it is big... teme je,je.. very good.

  • "There's enough Niggers in here to make a Tarzan movie!!!!"

  • It's on the air now.

  • I like it when Fred winks at the the crowd in the back Lmbo

  • Listen, the white man created the word nigger to hurt the feelings of blacks and blacks( I still don't get it! ) have said they've turned a negative into a positive! It's a NEGATIVE to me! So, please stop with this CRAP with Rappers did this! Its simple, the word went from the white man( who still use it because it still stings, blacks, but not all blacks! ) to older blacks saying it and little kids growing up hearing it in their household and using it themselves! The word is a NEGATIVE!

  • @NYCNorthNJ777

The word originated as a term used in a neutral context to refer to black people, as a variation of the Spanish/Portuguese noun negro, a descendant of the Latin adjective niger, meaning the color "black".

  • @artzer19 VERY GOOD. YOU HAVE THE MOST PROPER ANSWER YET ON HERE. MOST IDIOTS, 99.9% DONT KNOW THAT.

  • @DJVBasil

It's funny. there isn't a week that goes by where I'm talking to my spanish-speaking friends in public, use 'negro' and then get nasty looks from onlookers or probing eyes from people just nearby, then I sorta always feel the need to reiterate to them that 'negro' in spanish simply means 'black'. It is NOT derogatory or was ever meant to be. The derogatory connotation around the time of early US slavery came much later.

  • @KillSwitch2 THEY PROGRAMMED THE WHOLE WORLD TO TO REACT TO CERTAIN WORDS. "NIGGER" IS A REAL PEOPLE WORD. NOTHING WRONG WITH THE WORD "NIGGER" IF YOU REALLY ARE AFRICAN. THEY MANIPULATED IT, AND MADE IT A TRIGGER WORD. DEVIDE AND CONQUER.

  • @NYCNorthNJ777 YOURE AN IDIOT.

  • love that scene redd foxx is a legond long live fred sanford

  • I have seeing the episode dozens of times over the past 25 years on TBS, TV Land, VHS Tapes and the released DVD Series. I have never, ever seeing this part edited or shown ANY differently than what is seen here. How would they "edit" it? "Look at all these African-Americans in here! Look around, this looks like we're at an NAACP rally!" (???). That might have been funny, but I like Redd Foxx' version best!

  • @GeorgiaKev i seen the edited version they phased out the word not as funny as this one.

  • @TheNmorales That's too bad, as there's nothing really racist about it. Black people still call each other "niggers" in jest. The funniest lines in that episode came a few minutes earlier when that Mexican was on the stand and Fred said "He probably got a speeding ticket because once Mexicans get their cars started, they have to drive real fast to get where they're going before it stalls on them." LOL!!!

  • any station thats owned by ted turner there gonna chop up every classic show

  • Man why did they edit this its not like we don't hear the N-word everyday lol

  • this is just Redd Foxx being Redd Foxx. It's a classic bit of comedy.

  • lmaooo!

  • I swear white people are obsessed with us. Any video with a black person in y'all just flock to it.

  • @Bbopflav212 Wow!!! I Thought the same shit. anything with nigger, or n-word in the title, they flock to it like a white man on a asian broad.

  • @Bbopflav212 wanna smell black patseeze big cheese........BODYSLAMBA!

  • @phuccue Since you're begging for attention, I'ma give it to you by giving you this helpful tip. Get a razor and go to town on your wrists. You're welcome! : )

  • @Bbopflav212 heh heh stupid azz niggah, sorry dat welfare check is late...better call the obamma and bitch hiz azz out........

  • @phuccue you wish I was on welfare.i I think I hear your sister calling you back to the trailer park, saying she's ready to fuck. Keep being obsessed with black people because that the only thing making your life worthwhile

  • @Bbopflav212 youze niggaz is nuthin but welfare parasites, thank God that sambos are killin' each other, just like the rapperz tell you to, fucking retarded monkey-slut...

  • LOL!!!! EPIC!!!!

  • man this shit is RACEST!!1

  • A perfect example of comical talent and writers with freedom of expression.

  • I have to admit, that was probably the best part of the otherwise cheezy 1970s: Political Correctness hadn't infected our society yet and you could hear funny stuff like this on national TV. Ahhhhh, the good old days........................

  • @nagmashdriver Amen! You said it!

  • Antenna TV has aired this episode at least twice this year and this part was left in both times.

  • @LP61RI I was just gonna post what you said...You're right.. this was never edited from this episode. In fact Fred says nigger in a few episodes.I think George Jefferson does also.

  • LOL A TARZAN MOVIE

  • I remember when this episode came on. You won't get this version now a days. I still use that quote today.....lol

  • @1963Iota I do too, and it's a shame that line had to be cut out. It may be offensive to some people just like swearing on TV, but it's your set and you can look at what you want.

  • Red Foxx will forever be one of funniest sitcom dudes in the business. RIP.

  • I remember this episode. Thanks for posting...

  • Edited!? I didn't know they did that to Redd Foxx's work today! Aww, that just blows!

Censoring Redd Foxx seems more racist than anything Redd Foxx ever said or did!

    Fucking racist and cowardly censors!

R.I.P., Redd Foxx. The world just isn't as funny with immensely talented legends like Foxx now gone, now is it. And even less so when they're now edited out. I bet Foxx wouldn't stand for that shit if he were alive to say something about it! Fucking cowards!

    Redd Foxx rules!

  • LMAO Red Foxx always kept it real. All of you half assed loud mouth comedians take notes!

  • LOL OMG I LIKED TO DIED !!!!!!!

  • Paul Mooney. Good writing. Thanx.

  • THEY CHEERED XD

  • I saw this episode. I remember the "Tarzan movie" part. Got a big laugh.

  • Racial profiling brought up in a funny way....could never do that today on a comedy.

  • ha!ha!ha!

  • RIP REDD FOXX

  • One of my favorite episodes. Man I miss old Fred.

  • FRED RULED! He said with feeling because he LIVED it all his life.

  • Comment removed

  • Yeah they said it in sitcoms and in some movies, and let it go on TV, back in the 70s.

  • hahaaaa...this was SO not unedited! this is the way it originally aired back in '73-'74! he and George Jefferson and even James Evans said it quite a bit! LMAO!!!!! hella funny

  • Redd fox was the best .

  • because blacks brake more laws then whites Fred

  • Comment removed

  • @fidfel1062 Yeah I am black! When I die I won't be black anymore & you won't be Spanish& there will be no whites.. really makes no difference what color anyone is..

  • @Thet3 I totaly understand . god gave us the gift of site to enjoy his creations and his deversity

But we should not have to wait till were dead for strangers to walk up to us and say hello or lock their car doors when we walk by.

  • @99boyz Damn man you're poor ignorant bastard. Hey it's spelled "break" not brake as in a car.

Your sterile right because people like you should not reproduce.

  • @godsun5 who cares how its spelt i DONT!!

  • @99boyz oh well got marry your sister then Jeff

  • @godsun5 lol So i Bet your in the 7th grade Chipmunk

  • @godsun5 Horse puckey on you!

  • @99boyz lols were had.

  • Im white, but i've been watching S&S since i was 8. Redd is just so much funnier than all of todays comedians.

  • LOL! Funny shit dude- they need to bring back classics like this.

  • Redd LOVED Bird & Macdonald also known as the Dukes Of Disgusting. See him open the show he hosted for them on "The World's Dirtiest Song" video on YouTube and get all their songs at iTunes and Amazon.com. .

  • always fucking crying..about how bad the black man has it shut the fuck up some white ppl have it just as bad er time the police see me i get locked up so stop ya bitchin..whitey out..lol

  • Someone here said that we need more people like the eternally absent Redd Foxx and Richard Pryor. We do have people like that. Chris Rock,Dave Chapelle and rappers Tyrese Gibson and Snoop Dogg, who are actors as well.

  • BEST COMEDIAN OF ALL TIME

  • @Beatleboy1968 next to martin

  • fucking hilarious!

  • they even said that on good times j.j's pops.

  • That is so funny i could watch it everyday and still laugh my shoes off!

  • lmao!! Thats still some classic shit right there!!no matter how many times you hear it,its still funny!!

  • Oops...that's niggers!

  • @a1vocalcoachdotcom :Opps.....that's NIGGAS!!!

  • And he didn't use the modern day adaptation of the slang "nigga." He said nigger! lol

  • Sitcoms reached their peak back then, and it's been pretty much downhill since.

  • epic!!

  • I dont consider it racial when a black man calls other black people niggers. It just becomes comedy and that my fellow crackers or honktes where ever your from is hilarious. What about gorilla face that seems appropriate they dont cut that out now as seen on one episode when Fred wants to stick esther face in dough and make some gorilla cookies. Just plain great comedy.

  • enough niggas in here to make a tarzan movie lmao rip gewd sitcoms!

  • ah damn.thats some funny shit.

  • the first time I heard it was on the jeffersons, when sherman hemsley said it in regards to an old friend that was trying to get with wheezy.

    was an awesome moment.

  • @feldspardelta21 Also in an episode of Good Times where this drunk guy starts rambling to James in the bar and James says, "Nigga do I know you?"

  • They can't leave anything alone can they?

  • back when the word "nigga" was legalized on tv

  • Funniest show ever. Red Foxx (John Sanford) was a genius.

  • @weewaa101 Nigga...you gay.

  • I didn't like Lawanda at all as a cursing comedienne, she just wasn't funny. Redd was funny at times, but they were both a hell of a lot more funny doing clean material. Sanford and Son is one my favorite all time sitcoms.

  • and the pigs still arresting niggas in droves...pitiful. This shit is funny cuzz its still relevant.

  • Redd Foxx is truly hilarious. R.I.P. Mr Foxx

  • weaklings too PC today to even laugh at this. weak minded fools of this age.

  • LMMFAO!!! i have the complete collection of sanford and son. i must say i was surprised they let him say that back then, cuz he alwayz said they wouldnt let him cuss or say what he really wantd to say... he'z hilarious!

  • @weewaa101

    shut fuck up.

  • Oh come on @weewaa101 they haven't even paid for the Boat Ride over here yet. It was deluxe accomodations. They had on board Meals & Entertainment. Just like the Love Boat. The Ship was so Big they had to Chain them together to keep them from getting lost. Or falling overboard! As for "that word" You place way to much value on it. It's just a word. It won't bite You. It's just like a Gun. It can lay there forever & be completely safe. Or go off accidentaly & start a riot! Just use it with care!

  • @ZEEMADMAN I use to be mad at folk like you but now I feel sorry for you because it's one thing to be dumb, then it's another thing to be stupid. I know your lonely because no one wants to be around some one who's dumb and stupid ; you stupid dummy!.............. Redd Foxx!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • i saw this episode not long ago.. but it didnt go like this! LOL!

he had one heck of a foul mouth, and so did lawanda page(aunt esther).. but they were "funny. page was just sort of "shocking"... im not really into blue material but I'd take foxx over page any day.. but I guess they were both "pioneers" of filth.

    winchester cathedralllll...lol!!

  • HAHAHAHAHHAHAHA HILARIOUS!!!!!!!!!! Tarzan movie

  • There's enough Niggers in here to make a Tarzan movie! LOL!

  • Actually,Redd Foxx said "niggas". "Nigga",is the friendly, more acceptable slang version of the racial slur. Only prejudiced people would use such slurs. My late maternal grandfather was like that. he called the late Sammy Davis Jr. "one-eyed n-word". You hear black guys saying "nigga" to each other all the time meaning "buddy" or "dude".

  • Where have all the people with common sense gone these days, we need people like Redd Foxx and Richard Pryor again.

  • Norman Lear and Redd Foxx were geniuses. The 70's was a progressive time for TV, it became more PC in the 80's.

This show was just meant to be funny while also making some social statement which this scene did. Anyone who finds this offensive needs to get a sense of humor because they are trying to send a message here along with the humor if you don't see that for what it is then you are part of the problem.

I am white and I love Redd Foxx, his nightclub act was far dirtier than this.

  • I luvs it!!!

  • This actually aired recently on my local station, i was surprised.

  • I remember seeing that. He actually made a good argument.

  • this was on TV back in the day. everything is so fucking PC now.

  • saying that word then and now is night and day, even for a white man

  • woe... I totally didn't expect that! Was this really part of the original show or was it some comedy skit he did afterwards???

  • @TwinMillMC part of the original show. All in the Family used it too sometimes, plus every other word that's "forbidden" from network tv today. The 70's was kind of a progressive time for TV.

  • The Seinfeld actor Michael Richards geot his ass in hot water for saying the n-word(the racial slur) in one of his comedy routines on stage. And just beacuse the guy is white.

  • @arhuxtable He sad N*gger, not Nigga...B-I-G difference between the two

  • That's just what I said. The n-word with "er" at the end. NIGGA is believed to be friendly in the aspect of similar terms like "dude","buddy" or "pal". Black guys call their fellow males, regardless of color or race,"homeboy" or "homie".

  • @arhuxtable that wasn't part of his comedy routine you diship he was yelling at a guy in the audience..... he also said 50 years ago you woulda had a fork up your ass and they'd hang you and blah blah blah.... he was being racist period it.... you are incredibly dense or probably a retard.....

  • @arhuxtable you got that wrong. Richards was pissed off (justifiably) at some black folks talking during his routine. Usually during these times the comedian would direct a few jokes/barbs at the chatty individuals in order to get a laugh from the audience which, generally speaking, gets those clowns to shut up. Richards sounded angry and looked pissed off and nothing he said was funny to the audience. That is why he got in trouble. He did not handle it appropriately.

  • All those niggas got a charge out their fellow nigga Fred Sanford saying,"There's enough niggas in here to make a Tarzan movie!".

  • Redd Foxx is easily one of the greatest comedic actors to ever live. Comedy acting isn't easy but he does it insanely well. His delivery is amazing and he plays Fred Sanford incredibly. How can you not fucking love this man.

  • Miss Redd! One of the funniest lines was to Aunt Esther, when BB King asked that he and Fred do a song dedicated to Esther, Fred replies, "OK, how about Mule Train?" Classic!

  • hahaha, he was crazy... If they would have aired that part it would have been funny.

  • @MrBrandon330 They did for years, until political correctness came along

  • Edited? I am pretty sure I saw this on TV and we laughed our asses off. They must have removed it later. 70s tv was funny as hell. Redd Foxx was extremely funny on stage performance. I'm pretty sure Richard Prior was inspired by him as we tend to think most comedians with urban based humor think it was Richard. even I fail to think that at times. Who knows who inspired Redd but I guess I can look up the collective opinions of others on Wiki as I tend to do :P

  • Comment removed

  • This Is nothing New George Jefferson Was Good for Racial Slurs... Even "Nigga"

  • @Jaymarvlis George Jefferson started after Sanford and Son. Jefferson didn't start until about 1976 while S&S I believe started around 71-72. The original Jefferson was actually an uncle and the character George didn't debut on All in the family until about it's 3rd season and became a spinoff in the late 70s.

  • George Jefferson first appeared on All In The Family near the end of the 1973-74 season, the 4th. The Jeffersons premiered 1/18/75 and ended in '85.

  • @arhuxtable Well I was close. But when did S&S run? Earlier, right? But Redd Foxx was a comedian going way back before that. Without wiki it, probably early 60s?

  • Sanford & Son premiered in 1972 or '73.

  • @arhuxtable right. Thank you for clarifying that. my original reply to Jaymarv that Redd Foxx came first where he says "This was nothing new, George Jefferson was..." suggesting He came first when it was S&S :)

  • their enough niggas in here to make a tarzan movie, damn thats funny

  • Freddy G rules!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Some episodes they feel comfortable leaving it in, sometimes not. The word aired on AITF for Lionel's engagement. It was important to the storyline and perfect shock value. Here Sanford uses it twice but it's VERY funny. It's always edited on Nick. Destroys it. It really depends on how it's used whether a TV station or network will air it. The "N" word never offended on these shows back in 71-76. After 76 the shock value was gone, plus some PC set in after then. This clip is awesome!

  • lol

  • They used to show this unedited on TBS. Then another time I watched it, same episode, same time slot, they had edited it. I assure you, take out the actual dialogue, the comedy suffers.

  • NOT on my LOCAL stations.

  • I saw this on regular TV many times, never edited.

  • N.I.G.G.A.=Never Ignorant Getting Goals Accomplished........

  • Awesome acronym.

  • enough nigers to make a tarzan moive

  • I hope this is going to sound right and NOT mean offend anyone but here goes... In my own personal opinion I think that to take serious issues on and turn them into comedy is genius! It was done in a way on 70's Tv that you can not be offended by and actually laugh at. Fred Sanford, Archie Bunker, George Jefferson actuallly made life funny in those days and that is something you just cannot get away with today! try saying the N word and lawsuits ensue and ppl get uptight right or wrong

  • @ohwell94 Very good analysis!

  • @use2slam2

    Damn right!

  • Funny Shit

  • Rock and roll awesome!

  • I am white and find this offensive....Why did that even say that back then? That is sad!

  • @kduideo You are one of these poltical correctness people im guessing? One word and the whole world will soon end now. lol Come on, it was a joke, it was a show not reality. People get so upset these days

Red Foxx is an EPIC LEGEND!! He is one of the greatest of all time. "You big dummy" lol

  • @musicfan088 Fred Sanford was great! I met him in person back in 1980 while I was in boot camp in San Diego.

  • @kduideo Another bleeder you and your do good er political correct friends are killing this country. Redd Foxx makes us laugh and takes the hate out of your so called politically correct (N) word .

  • @kduideo Guess what, that word was said over 100 years ago.

  • @kduideo "Back then??" People still say it now. Where ya been?

  • @snoops71 I NEVER hear that word ON TODAY'S tv. Even Nick at Night edited that line out. So I do NOT hear that word on tv.

  • @kduideo Really? I heard it just a few weeks ago on an episode of "All in the Family" on TV Land. Not to mention TV One shows these episodes unedited, so it's on there, as well as in the hip-hop and rap vids.

  • @snoops71 Heard you said....Called:Here say........... tv land/nick owned bye vicom will NOT air this it is EDITED.....trust me.

  • @kduideo Well maybe they won't air THIS episode unedited, but they sure didn't edit two episodes of "All in the Family" I saw just a few weeks ago, on TV Land. Heard the N word loud and clear.

You know, this isn't something I have to lie about.

  • @kduideo Are you kidding? They say nigga on Sanford and Son, All In The Family, and especially Boondocks... try watching that sometimes. They say it like 10x an episode. Lol

  • AWESOME

  • I just saw this episode on tv and they kept the N word in the show. He is sooo funny may Red Foxx RIP

  • they say nigga, not nigger

  • @JamesPriceJohnson Naw cuz. That's niggER! On the skrenf

  • @b133le i dont know what the hell you just said.

  • @JamesPriceJohnson Of course you don't.

  • I hate how the world has changed. People used to have a sense of humor.

  • I have all 6 sesaons of Sanford & Son on DVD & this part is one of my favorites. I also like his deragatory remarks about Puerto Ricans with them leaving chili stains on the walls.

  • @AFGSANFORD2 do u know what episode it is when Fred makes this big bowl of salad i think, throws whole tomatoes in it then shoves celery sticks in, tastes it, and throws it away bowl and all?

  • @comptonhood2 I know which episode your talking about. I will look it up & get back to you. I do remember an episode where Grady fixed up a salad with marijuana.

  • @AFGSANFORD2 its not the one with the brick he uses either and thanks

  • frd sanford also says it when lamont almost got married he kalled his inlaws a bunch of jive niggas HAHAHAHAH

  • 2010metsfan this was not a outtake i saw this episode a couple on time just as is years ago.

  • 2010metsfan this was not a outtake i saw t

  • It is on the FAMILY GUY DVD,....."UNCUT" Fox did not want to chance it.

  • Comment removed

  • @billy357magnum1I stand corrected...if you say you saw it I believe it! Its a shame that we live in such a PC world...one of the funniest movies ever was Blazing Saddles(which was co-written by Richard Pryor), but a movie like that would NEVER get made in today'sworld!
