If you need ten minutes, a stretcher and a team of doctors you should not be playing the next game and The IIHF should make it a rule that you can not play for at least 2 games after such a trauma to the "Head"

The point of banning head hits is so people don't get knocked unconscious and suffer career-long damage. That will prevent another Eric Lindros from getting concussions so easily.

the WORLD JRS TOURNY is absolutely fuckin horrible! I love hockey and one any day except sunday its all I watch but this tourny is down right terrible! Some of these teams have no chance and the hockey is really really bad. Not to mention they are playing 3 games in one day in the same building which makes the ice terrible and these players are not good enough to make up for the bad ice. I'm a Canadian, and I would like nothing less than for Canada to take the gold. However, I really hate seeing this. I can't really say it was intentional, or if it was an accident. But I can say it was careless. I love a physical game of hockey, but I don't like seeing guys get hurt like that, no matter what side. And if anyone does cheer for stuff like this, you are the kind of problem fan that we don't need. I want to see good competition, fair play, and nobody getting seriously hurt.

It wasn't a clean hit as he didn't even have the puck, lol.... Its an interference and the shoulder hit the helmet, but not enough to be called an actual hit to the head. His teammate had the puck therefore he deserves a penalty and since he was nailed, it would be a major.
