Pakistan in spite of being an obedient son giving all its national wealth (returned in the shape of heavy loans) & land to USA is being treated as a step son with poverty fake inflation, confiscation of human rights, injustice, corruption & political filth enforced to rule, as the main issues whereas India the bastard son not letting USA intervene in any of its internal matters of Indias global destruction plans is being treated as a real son & gets all the benefits it doesnt deserve-WHY?
@leftygunz704 these are not my views. but the afghan people I expect are tired of people trying to "liberate" them. The soviets, the americans, the taliban - the afghan people have probably had enough. Also, the terrorist media machine there is pretty strong. Since the terrorists with their small numbers and relative monetary and technical constraints can trouble one of the largest armed forces in the world with extreme ease, they have this air of "cool" about them.
First of all ...there is no muslim world this division have been made by sick mind of people...there is only one world where all races, religions comunities are living.
Niether muslim nor islam hates US or israel they might hate thier extremist policies and double standard towards islamic counteries.
May God save US with extremism of jews and their policies, coz US so called super power are not but slave under israel or jewsism.....
Give Pakistanis more weapons so they can share it with religious extremists in their country to create more instability in South Asia..........that would probably make Pakistanis happy.
What the heck is this guy talking about, did he really say that there were no suicide attacks in Pakistan before the war in Afghanistan. You can't just go on air and say something that stupid and far from the truth just because some protesters were saying it. I know he was just reporting what the protesters believed but he should have said something about that not being factual.
@terrence0258 well my friend he is right about it... yes there was no suicide bombing in the history of Pakistan prior to Pakistan becoming an ally in the US led war on terror. Facts will be facts, you can go and verify.. and the rise in terrorism in Pakistan was a direct result of US invasion of Afghanistan... to make things worse Pakistan is filled with afghan refugees, who have been pouring in over the years due to civil strife, many of them being Taliban..
Our CIA performs their duties well. Undermine emerging governments, assassinate those who won't tow the capitalistic empires agenda, conduct psychological operations (both domestic and foreign) engage in False flag terrorism, massive drug running, and on and on...

Sure blame the US for your homegrown fundamentalism why not blame Zia-ul-Haq, Sharif and Bhutto? And ISI and current elites? That would be way too obvious of course. There is no hope for this country, Pakistan needs to be split up.
Yeah, it's not really our fault, but we're not making the situation any better, especially when we're supplying guns to "allied" tribal leaders who for the most part believe in the same dogma as the Taliban...
It wasn't enough last time. Why not support the secular nationalists instead? They even won the last elections in the NWFP. Part of their programm is by the way to abolish the "tribal areas" and make them part of a Pashtun province that than can do policy in favour of the natives there and not just power-politics a la "divide and conquer" for and from Islamabad.
Also did you realize the hidden premise of this newscast: "the Taliban are our friends as long as they rule over others"?
Right, I think an approach like that would be more beneficial to everyone in the long run, but it seems like our DoD doesn't take things like that into consideration, and focus more on short-term strategic gain.
We're making the same mistake in Pakistan that we made in Afghanistan and Iraq during the 80s. We heavily armed both the Saddam regime and the Taliban to keep the Soviets in check, and both of them became problems for us once the USSR left the picture.
Indeed. But a comprehensible approach for a long term solution doesn't go well with either the left or the right in American politics, too much partisan loonism, populism, isolationism etc. They don't care about a solution to anything if they manage with some decoy.
pakistan needs to get her shit together and fight the extremists along side of us or they will be taken over. blame america? fine, we want our billions back and then we'll be on our way, thank you very much.
To think that America is to blame for centuries of fighting is ridiculous. I think we should just get the hell out of and let them fight their own battles. What is happening in Pakistan has nothing to do with the U.S. except for the fact that we keep sticking our noses where they don't belong.
Before America entered the battle, they were fighting and long after we are gone they will continue to fight. So, why not spare the lives of US soldiers and stay out of it?
home. we need to get our troops home. we gave/give billions to pakistan to be a "partner" in fighting terrorism only to be ripped off by mashareff (sp) who i assume is now living on the fucking french riviera. we never should have invaded afghanistan but since it's a done deal now, deal with it. blaming america gets old when one hand is out grabbing the money while the other holds a knife at our throats.
I understand your point. Should the US also get out from Korea, Germany, Japan? US should get the money back from Hallibuton, KKR, Blackwater and other friendlyself labelled patriotic outlets. I do not believe America is in Pakistan because she was called to the rescue, but rather for national interests. That´s part of the problem.. and no one should expect to be greeted by flowers while populations distrust the real motivations of military partnerships...

U.S. has destabilized Pakistan. It started with Benazir Bhutto and it's all part of the plan.

With comments like this, it is little wonder why Americans are so despised in that region. Congratulations, you're an asshole.
