best group of guys i have been with so far... the only bad thing is that if you join the recon community, you are pretty much stuck in that community for the rest of the time youre in... but you get a lot of good quals, jump, HALO, dive, SERE, sniper(maybe all 4 and become a razorback). its a good thing...

Im unlike a lot of kids in my generation. Im fourteen and i dont sit on my ass and play video games, i hate them. I come on here listen to this to get pumped after school and go outside depending what day it is I work or walk about 2 miles to fish and do other things. by the end of the day i have literally walk 3 miles on a rainy day, 5 miles on a cold day, 2 miles on a rainy and cold day, and on a sunny day 10 miles at the least. And hell, i can't wait to earn the title U.S. Marine OORAH!!!

@usmc030092 You can't just hop into the School of Reconnaisance. You must first pass the Army Airborne School in North Carolina (a.k.a. Jump School) to qualify for any kind of Special Operations Unit like Force Recon or Battalion Recon.

.... No if you pass the Indoc and are accepted you head to MART and you can be there for awhile until you get to go to BRC which upon completion you will be a Reconnaissance Marine

you CAN go to jump school after that but it is not a requirement for Recon it is a additional school and when you become airborne qualified your MOS changes to 0323

and it's Basic Reconnaissance Course not school of reconnaissance
