Yeah, I usually cosplay as Orihime or Nel, so hair styling (especially for wigs lol) is quite difficult. For Orihime, you just have to buy the right wig, but for Nel....there's a whole styling process involved.

Usually, use gel to style. Have to shake the wig with gel in it. It works for me :]

Not really. For me, it usually takes a couple of hours to get it perfect. When I go to conventions, though, I don't do the wig as well, since I know it's gonna be messed up :P

Usually the hard part is the get the asian haircut good (or getting it at all) in the first place.

It's just lighter hair, everyone has different thickness of hair. If you check any hairstyle books before you try styling, they will usually have information on how thick or thin your hair has to be to be able to pull it off.

That's not really true though. Anyone can do it. We don't really have a particular hair type. I find most African/African American/(whatever you want to be reffered by) hair is easy to work with even if I didn't have the rubber, since their hair usually stays in the position you put it it =D. So it's not just Asians, anyone can do it with a bit of practice.
