LOVE YOUR CHANNEL SIS. This is awesome, and proof that it is we who make our youth backwards, if we ourselves are not informed. Thank you for this video, I am definitely taking notes! Many blessings to you and your family. =)
so interesting, we r told that babies don't know when they have to go and can't hold it and there is no point in tring to potty train earlier than 18-20 mos.i always wondered what mothers did in non developed areas that don't have diapers i was thinking they must have baby poo and urine on them 24/7 now i know.
thanks so much for sharing this! i stumbled onto the concept of EC while researching different cloth diapers (you know youtube has a video/tutorial/review for just about everything!). i'm fascinated by EC and very appreciative to the families who do it for sharing so that i can make more informed decisions when for my own pfc's (potential future children). your children are beautiful and it's such a blessing that you can be home with them so much! thanks again for sharing. take care!
How important for a mother to be home with her children. Taking mother out of the home taking her away from her off spring as truly done damage to today's children! Being a woman who wants to be home to raise her children is look down upon by this western society.
I want to thank you so much for sharing this, I am always trying to find the things that will be the most natural and healthy for my future child and have already decided that when the time comes for my next child i am going to practice baby-wearing and following their cues rather than what people say is needed and what not for each age.
I have a 6 yr old son that i breastfed but only 8months and with the next baby now that i am older and more educated and in tune with what changes i want
There's additional information on the side bar next to the video. You can google elimination communication and there are many websites that discuss the topic. Peace to you...and congrat's on the little one!
Hey! I love your vid. Especially coming from our perspective sista! I started when my baby was 6 wks too, but I since became use to the diapers again. I will start again.
This is amazing, being fairly new to holistic ans natural parenting I am in awe. I will be following you keenly on your journey. Hotep and thank you for a great lesson.
Beautiful baby! My daughter is 7 months now and I thought she had a ton of hair but her hair isn't quite as full as your little princesses. You're doing an amazing job! Thanks for posting the video.
This video was such a blessing!!! Though my sons are now older I can remember the ease that I had in potty training that came from paying attention to their Signs. As a result they were all toilet trained at 2 which used to be considered early : ) , and they were never bed wetters. Todah YHWH for using you to restore that love for motherhood that was once in our Foremothers. That true Love and Bond with our children. HalleluYHWH.
You are Blessed and You are a Blessing. Ahava and Shalom
not three seconds i took my son to the wash room and he went to the potty!!!!!!!!!!!! im so happy t have more ways of communicating with my child. But how often did u take ur daughter or wat are the usual signals?
That's great! I began taking her around 6 weeks of age usually after she'd nurse to eliminate over the sink. After doing this for a little while you get accustomed to their facial grimaces and body behavior as signs that they're getting ready to go.
You don't get it everytime...it takes getting accustomed to...and even more getting accustomed to in this culture where we strap diapers onto our babies and tune that important part of their communication out.
Aside from the benefits of bonding experienced between mother and child, you save tons of money from buying commercial diapers (which are toxic as well) and you save tons of money when it comes to laundering cloth diapers.
Would you believe I held my three week old over the potty for the first time while watching your video and we got a wee and a poo! And I agree very much, although I am not a Christian but a Pagan, when 'things' replace human bonds we have definitely lost our way. Blessed be.
Thanks for all the love and support you sent to my channel. I wanted to let you know how much my husband and I enjoyed your EC video. I was having a hard time explaining the concept to him cause I was still unsure about some things but your video was very comprehensive. Thanks for sharing.
I used to take care of a sister's baby and I would recognize when she wanted to go. I thought it was me. I got down to recognize all types of things and to differentiate between types of crying (sleepy, cold, wet, hungry, tummy pain, teething etc) even slight facial expression (especially the I have to do #2 expression lol) You are a master. Beautiful.
Great Video!!! I've started EC with my daughter when she was 2 months old. By 12 months she was in panties FULL TIME!! It is absolutely true about them waking up to go to the bathroom. My daughter has done it since she was 8 months old and still does it at 22 months. They do develope bladder control over time. This is a wonderful way to bond with you baby. They develope emotional faster, since they are more "intune" with their bodies and are more expressive.
This was a wonderful video and I am just amazed of what I have learned. You make me want to have another baby...LOL.. my son is 15. I wish I would have done this with him. The western-civilization takes away from the beauty of raising and teaching children in this way. I am still in awe. Thank you for sharing.
LOL! Thanks sis! This civilization has taken away all of what was our culture and makes it unappealing to most with all the new advents considered technology. We can only begin to pick up the pieces here and there as the Most High allows us...and make them again apart of the way we live our lives.
Toda raba for the education, achoti. Ahayah is truly amazing in the way in which He has designed us - to know the cues, the meeshpaca to learn to be sensitive to those cues. It makes for shalom bayit. It really makes sense, though. The innate sucking instinct, the crying instinct to communicate. I have never heard of NIC; wished I had when my 17 yr. old was a babe. You're truly a blessed baht Tzyone, Shamiparyah! Keep feeding us of this knowledge.
Gorgeous baby and mommy too. I'm glad to see an AA woman doing this because I am 5 months pregnant and I want to do this with my son when he gets here. My family thinks it's hippie non-sense. When should I start the EC?
Congrats on your upcoming little one! I began practice with EC with my fourth child at around 6 mos. old. It's recommended to begin at birth and this time around I tried that but felt a little awkward at first. I always prefer to rely upon my "motherly senses" kicking in and letting me know when I and baby are best ready to begin. I started my last at 6 weeks and it's been going well. I've read that there are key times to begin with EC. Something like anywhere from birth to 5 mos. and 12mos
Thanks for the compliment! The last music played in the video is just a random music clip from a selection of many. No song in particular, although it probably comes close to sounding like one.
What a wonderful mother you are. How do you manage to do things around the house though? How do you manage to cook, etc.?

What happens when the baby has diarrhea? Do you use diapers until it tapers off?
mgwrite 2 years ago
Hmm, mines never really have diarrhea. Before our major dietary changes, our older children did...but we were using commercial diapers then.
I do use cloth diapers as seen in the vid., so I'd say that'd be what I'd use
hebrewbaby 2 years ago
What signs should you look for to know that they baby may have to eliminate? Thanks for posting this wonderful video and opening so many eyes.
cuddy01us 2 years ago
Your welcome...the links I provided on the side bar have some websites that go into more detail as to the signs to look for.
...a flared red nose, sudden fussiness, uncomfortable...
A lot of the sudden crying that parents see are usually indicators that the baby has to eliminate.
