  • I'm a Scot and love our Scottish heritage but you don't see enough English national dancing or music. We were on a canal holiday couple of years ago and came across a demonstration of Morris and clog dancing at an old canal visitor centre. It was wonderful to watch. Be proud of your heritage neighbours! :)

  • I wonder why this isn't more popular! Looks like so much fun. With all the "melting down" of traditions, I hope Morris dancing will continue to live on.

  • Well done! Bravo!!

  • Great - brings back memories of primary school. The girls only did country dancing and the maypole - would have liked a go at the morris dancing....

  • Very English, yes, but the first tune is Rakes of Mallow (Rigs o' Marlow) and therefore presumably Irish in origin.

  • Could the beauiful clothing be considered a form of a national costume for the English?

  • brilliant lads star stuff keep it going its been around generations you all deserve a full pot of good english real ale lets sup to the tradition

  • Yep! I'll drink to that! :-)

  • Very English. God bless and save England and all Her traditions.

  • Yes indeed!! I'll second that! Thanks.

  • Well done lads.

This video brings back the memories...see you at 'foot up' again someday!
