a big difference between 40k and fantasy is that in 40k one army tends to be over powerd untill a new codex is released or its errated.

where as in fantasy theres a way to make nearly every army cheesy (i love my demons) =]

oh, k. animosity is the orcs and goblins special rule, where you roll a d6 for every unit at the beginning of your turn to see if they can move and shoot. (if your the goblin player that is)

P.S.give vampires fly can make them into must target units so there forced to attack you'll just obliterate them with typical coffin fodder units

Word to the wary about those blood knights becareful when facing High Elves cause swordmasters can defeat blood knights even if the knights get the charge. Believe me some poor guy charged his unit in to my swordmasters and the knights were wiped after one turn. That being said Vampire Counts are probably the strongest army in WHFB right now.

No way they are probably second to Daemons by a wide margin.

At higher point values Vampire Counts are the best is more what I was saing. In low point games I'd go with High Elves or Demons.

Daemons get the Cheesethirster and an army wide ward save.

I'll admit the ward save is good but then again its only a 5+ for most things which really isn't that good. Yes you can take it anytime and it doesn't go down with strength but things are more expensive because of it. And bloodthirsters are easy to take down if you know what you are doing. Its extremly expensive and if you face warmachines and they get it down to half points its still alot of points you lose for a round of lucky shooting.

My gobbos did pretty good using range and magic till my shaman's head exploded from a miss cast. Fear actually wasn't a problem at all.

I'm talking more along the lines of goblin and orc armies in general. Not just this battle. Low leadership goblins always have a problem with psychology, even more so against my elves. If you'd have met the enemy head on, fear would have been an issue.

Well BKs are overkill in lower point games 500-1250 area, but after that they aren't really worth it (if your considering tournaments), but they sure are fun to screw with... Just don't let the spear chukkas eat them - especially with O&G's ability to take 6 in a less than 2k game...

I just don't understand why Fritz asked me for advice on Fantasy and I strictly told him not to play Gobbos like Saim-Hann, and he does it! pff... lol

I have them for the hotness factor. BKs are the best looking VC models. With them and my scratch built Black Knights running around I should earn style points at least... Oh and check my vampire counts blog for pics of my converted Black Knight.

Oh I know! I had to play the BKs, mostly because they are why I got into VC. Its ok, Fritz knew I was gona play them and we were just messin around any way.
