@SonofDust777 Well the relationship of marriage is compared to the union between Christ and the church. The husband is compared to Christ and the wife is compared to the church (in Ephesians); therefore, I find validity towards his statements.

Also when Israel was in constant rebellion against God, the Father, Israel is rebuked as being an "adulterous" nation, which also shows some insight into our relationship with God.
