If he took it to the ground - even worse would happen - his shorter limbs grant him great leverage when it comes to ground and pound.

A great middleweight uses his body type to his advantage - not make excuses as to why he cannot compete with others at that weight class (aka Thiago Alves). That's why he truly earns every inch of my respect as a fighter.
