This is bullshit. Why the hell can these things be allowed to exist but NOT nukes?! And how the hell did FutureTech build a chronosphere with Einstein gone but SOMEHOW no one came along and invented nukes?

Red Alert 3 is impossible to understand, since over half of the stuff couldn't exist without Einstein/nuclear technology. There's so many plot holes that I've de-canonized it in me own mind.

No not the same damage effects! Its quite unique.

Proton Collider - Can not attack air but covers large area and has proton reaction that can connect from structures to structures.

Psionic Decimator - Can destroy ground and air at a certain damage covering

medium radius.

Vacuum Imploder - Covers small area but destroyes any unit COMPLETELY in that area and deals great damage to buildings.

Proton Collider doesn't affect air units. Vacuum Imploder does. Psionic Decimator, I forgot if it affected air units as well. But the Vacuum Imploder is the best superweapon in RA3 IMO. It lasts for a few seconds and anything that gets near the black hole is destroyed.

if you compare them, you see that they all work the same against structures and do the excat same damage to structures with the exact same range. They just affect units differently.

Vac destroys all units in the inner area, leaves outer area unaffected to units.

Psy and Prot are similar, but Psy affects all air units like the ground units while Prot just damages air units directly hitten by the beams, but then it is an instant kill

The Proton Collider shoots Antiprotons at the target. Antiprotons are one of three components of antimatter. The fact is, when matter comes in contact with antimatter, they completely destroy each other, thus releasing all this energy in small, sub atomic particles known as Photons. Einstein's equation E=MC^2 shows that the energy released by a particle is it's mass times the speed of light squared. Yes, this is one of the ways the equation works.

Well, we dont have to explain the inexplicable taking place in RA3.

There is no scientific background whatsoever on all weapons in the game. The developers just put some fancy names on them to make them memorable. In real life, not only there are much more efficient weapons than the ideas presented in the game, but also they are MUCH less complex. Why on earth make a Psionic Decimator (LOL) instead of using an H-bomb :P

Yea i dont disagree at all with your interpretation of the term of the word, but i believe that the developers of the game dont even know what the name of their weapon really stands for. They just put it cause it sounds fancy for most. They could have named it something like "The Antimatter big ass cannon" or something but they did not. In the game the term proton collider is really distorted, compared to its real life counterpart.

True. I think the whole source of this is that the name is somewhat misleading. Proton Colliders do exactly what their name says. Collide protons with each other.

But in the game, you shoot antiprotons, but the name is still "Proton Collider".

2. Vacuum Imploder (Slow but powerful and grabs enemy air units)

3. Proton collider (slower than Psionic decimator and does not destroy everything at the same time....)

Each of the super weapons have an advantage and disadvantage. The collider has a greater range and deals the most damage, but it can't touch the sky. The imploder grabs anything in its target, but its range is the smallest. The decimator deals less damage than the collider, but to me, it's the fastest. While the collider and imploder take time to hit a target, the decimator takes immediate effect, giving almost no time for the enemy to respond...

There were many other scientists that were trying to do the same thing as well. And anyways, sooner or later even without einstein, Nukes would have been invented, in contrast with Chrono stuff , which was never invented in real life. All the Vacuum imploder things shown in the game, are a lot more complicated than making a nuke. Einstein Developed a Theory. Not the Nukes themselves.

Well, i dont know actually. It seems to be a small Sonic Shockwave, focussed into a small area. That amount of power, concenntrated in that little area would leave a massive crater though! If i can get EA to explain it to me, i might be able to work the science out a little better.

Well if you remember the whole story line of RA3, Einstein is killed before any of his major work, including the Atom Smasher which lead to Nuclear Weapons. Hence why there is no Nuke.

Look in red alert 3 Soviets went to the past with the time machine and they killed einstein before he made the atomic bomb, so their fate wouldnt be the same as in RA1 and RA2, so they changed the future. But because Allies didnt throw the bomb on Japanese Imperial Army they got power to attack both Allies and Soviets.

The Red Alert Series is more comical in statue. That's what made it popular. Good old allies fighting the Russians.

Generals takes a serious tone on it and makes it more realistic.

In Yuri's Revenge you have the Psychic Dominator and the Genetic mutator, and in generals you have particle cannon(ion Cannon) , Nuke, and Scud Storm.
