i need more economically cheap way.

they are definatly the way to go because of the heat distribution and an open flame will burn the plastic how ever i've had good results with my kitchen oven, hot plates, hot plates in a Jerry rigged oven (aluminum entre plates from the dollar store) and high temp blow dryers. the trick is to heat the plastic as even as possible. making a housing for the plastic sheets to heat up in is a good start.
