steveandhutchinc I am only saying that because I'm doing a project that I have to talk about these towers...I'm 13 so, I'm younger....but I think these towers regardless the fact that it's a waste of money, they contribute for the world developement...That's what I think * . *

It won't cost any more to rotate it, because it has wind turbines generating the power to turn it.

The upkeep would be made up by the tourism.

And it's funded by a private company, so why does it matter to you?

seems like the private company has better stuff to do. It seems interesting and pretty self sufficient energy wise, but i think they could have used it on something to help the world. I wonder what the impoverished think of when they see this tower go up and they have a box. Maybe it's just me because i am at a noble dislike of architecture. Maybe i'm just bitter at one subject.

I saw it on Yahoo Video today, and they said it would be finished by the year 2010. It's a great idea but realistically, I don't think such a tower could be finished by then. I still can't wait for it though!
