  • my god its caterham (KATE-ER-HAM)!!! NOT CAT-REM!!!

    WTF AMERICA!!!

  • it´s an ugly seven, the HKT or irmscher sevens look better..

  • @ppmnml

    I think you're ugly

  • This is my favouite car, but to hear this Yankee miss pronounce the car everytime made this miserable to watch

  • @Alihappychappy What is he mispronouncing? Because Caterham sounds right to me... (CAT-R-HAM)

  • The original Lotus 7 looked better

  • "you can own a true track proven sports car on a working man's budget". Working where? It's ridiculous to hear such things, when You live in Poland... from a regular, most common payment, which equals to 400$ a month we're unable to even buy those wheels after one month of work, so hearing such things makes me fuckin' wanna nuke my country!

  • Nothing like a light car. I have a desert buggy and I just had to compress the suspension and take it for a spin on the street. The handling was insane and it was not even set up for street. I can not imagine this thing being so light and designed from the ground up to handle well. I would love to have one but that would mean getting rid of the buggy and that is not going to happen. LOL You can't beat the rush of doing 100 mph across open desert.

  • one thing that always bothers me is the horrid presenters on the speedchannel. There are a few knowledgeable entertaining ones but most are like this guy, completely lacking charisma. Also, caterham isn't being pronounced right. Sorry for the rant, that stuff just bothers the crap out of me

  • Most serious drivers don't want ABS.

And most serious drivers looking for a track car don't want air bags either. The last thing you want to do is loop it at a track day, only to have the airbags go off in your face.

  • Race cars do not have ABS because it's BS,race cars do not have air bags because that is fucking STUPID and the brake lines are behind the hole front assembly so to damage them you would have to rip the a-arms off; by that point the last thing you would be worried about is them.

  • never driven one then?

  • probably the only thing he have ever driven his mom's car.

  • I knew the KAR-120C immediately....sorry, i'm just a nerd

  • Terrible camerawork but I find the camp presenter very amiable. =)

  • how can i get to build one in canada....damn it!!! the only importer is in bc and i live in quebec, and i really want to buy a kit

  • me too, i live in Toronto

    it so awesome to build

  • it's like everything that's awesome doesn't exist in canada.....

  • Look, it's just a compound word

    Cat, as in meow

er, as in err... i was petting the cat

ham, as in eat the ham you dirty kitty

    Cat er ham

  • Er... no, it's Cater ham, as in "I can cater for 10 people if they want ham sandwhiches".

Whichever way you say it, it really is a great car. I drove an R400 and it was the fastest accelerating car I've experienced!

  • get the bleedin pronunciation right...its cay ter ham or even kate er rum not, oh forget it lol. and it should be green and yellow not purple! yek

  • I mean purple isn't exactly the most attractive colour but give it a black nose and black wings (CF for instance) and it would look a lot better. And there are sooooo much green and yellow Caterhams.

  • true. each to their own.

my lifetimes ambition 2 own a se7en. but £8000 is alot to stump up

  • It is worth every single penny. Hope you can afford one soon. :)

  • i love caterham

  • It's said like- Kate-er-ham not CAT-erham....

  • get the 1.2 hayabusa botor bike engine!!!!!!!!!!

  • HOW MUCH IT IS WORTH AYONE KNOWS?

  • the sv is "cruising" model. the kits about $30,000 with no engine in the us. less in the uk. i want to shoot the host who obviously knows nothing about caterHam.

  • thats very expensive! in Poland it is chaper a lot.

lotus s7 replik in parts cost about 25000 zlotys(below 10.000$) or just on wheels about 17.000$

  • yea but it's probably worth. don't have that much money though. i am considering building a stalker v6. but that'd be after i pay off my current car. the kit's about 10000 USD and you have to have a used pickup to take the drivetrain out of.

  • here most popular engines and others parts is taken from Ford sierra 2.0( engines, gearbox, driveshaft etc.)its quite cheap.

  • A Caterham is a Caterham and no shitty replica. You always get what you pay for.

  • Bout 30,000 US in europe, about 70,000 US in America if you go to a specialist importer.

  • Not true. A new Caterham in its lowest spec is ~30,000 $ in USA too.

  • well they are american....allways have to do things differently

  • Bare Ass Motoring.. you can't pronounce 'Caterham' correctly. Very Nice video..

  • Great Video

  • actually, you can get one of these cars in the U.S. on the company website they say there is a caterham dealership in denver.

  • Blow the doors off a 911?... bitt more than that mate. try a Ferrari 355 maby. The aerodynamics of the car are good as well! this guys full of s**t

  • The caterham is the least aerodynamic car you can buy. Look it up on wikipedia

  • Good video. Pity the Colonials can't pronounce 'Caterham': 'Kate-er-um' is correct, NOT 'KAT-er-um', idiot!

  • This presenter can't even prononuce 'Caterham' correctly.

  • I love this car! Great video, thanks!
