  • how Change Hair Color to White ???

  • thanks so much! I actually used the second method for grass and it came out perfectly.

  • Cool tutorial, like it. Please keep posting more.

  • Fantastic Tutorial but I had to constantly slow or pause to keep up with the speedy instructions. Slowly please...

  • That's cool. But what happens when you don't have a white background like that. I mean... Most of the photos you take can be with more dark backgrounds than that...

  • What if i dond hale a nice white background? :/

  • omg I think i just shit my pants at 2:21... had the volume on the headset a bit too loud xD

  • The 3rd selection type using channels can be made easier using levels to adjust the channel before making a selection. This will allow you to use less manual adjusting in quick mask mode. Also, feathering the selection by 0.2 would help.

  • Thank you!

  • I haven't tried the other methods out thoroughly yet but from what I've tried on the last step, it doesn't seem to work when there's not very much contrast between the hair and the background color.

  • So when i try clicking on the Hue/Saturation it says: Could not complete Hue/Saturation command selected area is empty, what am i doing wrong?

  • @rigel559 maybe you selected an empty layer. try checking the layer first. :)

  • that was grate!! thnx for the tips.!! this wilñ be pretty helpful.

  • What version of photoshop do you have? And can you do a tutorial about swapping people hair styles? Loving this etude. And how do I subscribe?

  • Ok, this was a great tutorial, but will this method work for moving the subject from one background to another? If not , can you do a tutorial on how to do this. I really need to know how to do this. Thanx

  • @atadragon yeah it will. you just need to select the rest of the person/thing from the first background and then move it over to the next background. This tutorial is just to show how to select the hair (which usually gives people a hard time)

  • Cool!

  • the third one is the best....I normally use a quick mask tool and just smear it all over the hair...But this looks better and easier

  • I subbed! Thank you!

  • third method seems abit complicated for me, i think second method is right for me

  • the quick selection tool is weird sometimes when i am trying to select the hair it selects part of the background as well.

  • Great tutorial. I like how you explain the 3 different methods. Could have slow down a bit for novice like myself. Overall, great!

  • that was really cool selection man , but how can i remove the background ? help pleazzzzzzzz..

  • are you talking about removing a non white background? if so that can get pretty tricky. I mean the methods are all around the same but you want to take it section by section and it would take a lot of work.
