  • WOW Paul Nison looks a lot different than the pic on the book I bought! I think the raw foods diet IS a big part of healing bcs you nourish your cells in order to regenerate and/or heal. I think the body does want and know how to be healthy and feeding yourself well is the underlying support for that. What are your thoughts on this? I'm not into the processed "raw food" that comes in pkgs - that's not the good food I'm talking about.

  • so now raw cacao isn't good for you? good lord I give up!

  • 6:00

this part showed me this guy is really looking for health, and not blindly following dogma. good stuffs

  • From 4:14 on -exactly .The biggest tragedy is the scammers and marketeers (and liars) which have come with Youtube and the internet.

  • raw food teachers say to avoid fruit bcuz the sugar feeds candida.. what do u think about that john??

  • A few raw food teachs say avoid fruit. I say it depends on the person. I personally get much of my caloric need from fruit. For some people, its better to get your calories somewhere else, say from sprouted grains. I have seen that many of the people who teach low fruit raw foods by default teach a "high fat" raw food diet (or getting alot more than 10%-20% of your calories from fat). Which I do not think is good either.

  • @rui27marne Carbs("Suger") feeds everything. That's why nature produces mostly carbs. Animals don't have candida issues. It's carbs WITH fat that creates problems(Nature doesn't combine carbs and fat.)

Dr. Graham agrees with me :) He also says Candida is natural; everyone has it; the body normally keeps it under control(like bacteria).

No need to starve candida. Let the body take care of it - by getting healthy - by eating how you know is right - a primate fruit and veg diet.

  • John & Paul, thank you for this sage advice. As someone who is very new to raw foods, I am noticing oddities in the information that is out there. Trying to research & ferret out the most accurate and truthful info is key. Your simple freshest is bestest approach grounds me after I've sifted through conflicting information elsewhere. Thanks!

  • The biggest problem with the raw food movement is the marketers.

I don't want to buy expensive superfoods from your online shops. Stop bugging me in your videos. We all know who they are.

  • grt video ty both of you

  • the biggest tragedy is when a sick person buys superfood with their last dollar instead of what they really need, llike the appropriate herbs or probiotics.

  • I agree with both of ur views. I think the combination of both of ur views is that the RAW foodist community becomes CULT like!!! That to me is the BIGGEST Tragedy! Thanks for the video John and Paul!!!

    Love is... TL

  • Nice video!

  • I do not really see that big of a difference with the long-term personal experience teachers and some of the new ones. I see that there is a problem sometimes with lack of academic nutritional studies and the ones that have a lot ot formal education are often lacking in personal healing experience!!

  • It's always bad when something turns into an industry. Some people really want to sell you all kinds of stuff, including their ego to immitate.

Too bad lots of people are too blinded to see through this scam and just walk in it with open eyes.

Many people are looking for answers outside themselves, so if somebody seems to offer those, they are willing to buy into it easily cause they think it brings the solution.

Industry is a big tragedy, not only in raw food, also in music, enlightenment,...

  • David Wolfe is a sell-out. He damaged the raw food movement so much by promoting that crap and selling his company to a Monsanto guy!

  • Great video. Thanks for sharing your accumulated wisdom with us. It just makes sense to look for those with the most experience, especially when considering a massive dietary change. I once made a decision to have surgery. The surgeon I chose had done hundreds of the procedures and even trained others to do the procedure. As a result, I felt completely confident I would have a good outcome. Of course I choose to look for the same level of experience in choosing a health promoting diet.

  • Great vid guys, keep the good info coming.

  • i love watching the videos with you two in it.

  • You guys are SOOO right.

  • Great video! Thanks for putting this information forward.

  • Totally agree. Know your teachers. And there is a lot more to health than raw foods. Thanks for this interview!
