@yoyrut10000 it just seems worse then it is because of advertisement television and industry saturation. best hip hop producers are not so jaded that they only use digital compositions, In fact they allow people who otherwise wouldn't listen to classic riffs to enjoy them by clearly sampling classic music. Although they didnt master a classical instrument, it takes the same sacrifice and love for music to master mixing, turntables, etc. "Madlib" he mixes uses indian music folk jazz and reggae

@djdanieljohn Even still, there is nothing like listening to a real instrument. I think technology is advancing greatly, but with music it should stay away from. Of course to make rap beats it takes some talent, I don't want to be like one of those guys that is close minded and says there is absolutely no talent in that. However, it just can't compare to the amount of practice it takes to play a guitar for metal, rock, etc, as well as a violin or jazz instrument.

@yoyrut10000 true, from a third person perspective i could see that, and at the very least music used to be more artful and tasteful, now its so ugly you have to endure so much bad just to get a taste of feeling or emotion, (but when you find it in hip/hop its special because its relatable) i would describe myself as a HUGE rap -hiphop fan, the first cd i ever got was outkast stankonya cd in jr high but i prolly only listen to less then 1% of whats out nowadays...:(

I made a rap beat with a friend and used voice changing programs and honestly it didn't really take much. It is stressful playing in a rock/metal band. It takes a long time to learn how to play well (years) and spent a lot of money on lessons. Then while playing, each member has to keep up and play in sync.
