I had to Subscribe to you just on the basis of this video alone. The sounds are not only fantastic with their ethereal ambient pads, smooth leads, and wonderful arpeggiated patterns, but the smooth flawless playing and creative composition of the demoed sounds were awe inspiring as well, to say the least.

I am coming up with some great sounds on this beast- limitless and ORIGINAL - all the hype of the MOTIF's and VIrus's honestly, I played them side by side and the An1x seems to have more deeper richer sounds and capabilites-it's also simple to use - hit dual -bang it's thicker - -effects simplier to use. The Virus is awesome, but if you want that moogish, groovy vintage sound that can still sound modern- this IS the shit.

Once I managed to re-create the typical sound of Midge Ure's "If I was" on my AN1x. I still must be somewhere on hard disc in a very, very old computer.

Even though there's a big EX5S sitting underneath the AN1x, it's still such a lovely little synth. I'd rather sell a kidney than the AN1x.

@SeverityOne Midge Ure went on a BBC R4 music Quiz and he sang this song by improvising lines to professions suggested by the audience. He sang "If I was a cartographer, I'd lay her down and trace the bumps on her!" Perhaps you could make your sound again and try this game out for Christmas entertainment!

lol. no need for two of the same keyboard. Just get a loop pedal cheap, and loop one. and layer other sounds over it. but hey if you got the extra cash go for it.

groove to it. Quick question: I just bought my first An1x and LOVE IT. The manula says VARIABLE split point but doesn't say HOW to move it- can you move the split point either up or down?

yes you can, on the VOICE COMMON line on the right side you have button

Split Pnt, simply move this button up or down select your split of keyboard...

and store sound with new settings
