@DemonSasuke111 i drift with maxed out upgrades, its not harder when u get used to the new feathering point on the throttle, and to be honest i think its alot better for the long corners, i love my 1000bhp mines rwd on forza 3 and top secret supra also about 1000bhp on forza 2

The biggest weakness in any car is THE DRIVER. All those upgrades are nothing if you suck behind the wheel. The Driver is the number 1 determining factor of a car's true performance. Upgrades help the car not the driver. More horsepower doesn't mean the car drifts easier or better just means it takes less effort to break the traction of the rear tires. The more power you have the more throttle control you need to use. Too much gas and you will spin out every time.

well im pretty good at drifting and i dont use the e-brake i use braking drifting so the momentum of the car gets the cars arse out then just control the slide with the throttle and minor applications with the steering wheel

Hmm.. I wonder what is faster overall: Professional drifting or the professional, traditional type of driving (On a course with a moderate amount of turns). I mean like.. The amount of seconds it takes for each style of driving to complete the same track.
the traditional type of racing. why? because the speed when coming out of a corner is much faster and it is more important. even if drifting gets higher speed entries on corners the advantage of getting fast out of a corner is that you get more speed for the longest time. play in the nurburgring if you want to see for your self. i think it has the amount of corners you want.

takes skill, a good drifter varies, some people use one car, if they want to thats them, good for them. I personally make hundreds of cars but only use 2-3 of them for a couple of months, than make another new batch and take the ones I like.
i agree but i woz just experimenting and separating the good from the bad. best drift cars for me are: chevrolet chevelle SS 454, ford mustang GT, mazda rx7, toyota supra, cadillac cts-v (with corvette c5.R engine) and toyota sprinter ae36.

I'm in Amateur Drift self funded for 3 years, that amounts to alot of money put into tires and maintaining my car. Do you think I would waste even MORE of my time researching dumbass names for stupid moves that shouldn't even be classified as a drift move? Hell no! As far as I'm concerned a Dirt Drop Drift does not exist, and will not be needed when I'm drifting. The reason real life Drifters compare a game to real life, is that in a game there are 60% less variables you have to worry about kid.
I am to a self funded amateur drifter , but at least i dont go braggin about it.. and no the research is not a waste of time. It can help you in situations like when ur about to spin out. I am aware that the games are nothing like real life..thats why they call it a game.

make some sense bittenmitten i dont have time to waste. btw everyone drifting isnt that hard on here it just requires patience, skill and a good tune on your
car. other then that its all about being easy on the accelerator and making the wheels spin only when you need them to and slowing them down or speeding them up depending on whether you need to break traction or gain traction.

Move it back and forth, try getting a stock car, S14 maybe, get the feel of it stock, then add, Differential, Suspension and Say Bars, tune different things one at a time, that should have you know what effects what. Countersteering in this game is constantly moving the wheel back and forth, unless your car is underpowered, i.e stock S14.

ok i kno i sound like a noob.... i love my forza 2 love my awd fairlady racer.... but i havent a clue how to make a drift car n this game.... make a perfect racer is easy drifter a whole nother world

this is drift!!! in drift you dont brake and then slide. you go with high speed to corners. e-brake is allowed. you do know how to drift. RESPECT

No you dont heel-toe while you drift. you left foot brake. Heel Toe is used for downshifting revmatching and braking all at the same time.

yeah! Trueno is a damn good drifting car in this game!
I got mine almost all race, except it doesn't have turbo (and i don't want to).
tuned for heavy understeering. does feel right with both drifting and racing (I just need a bit of practice, and it'll smoke Ferraris and all that stuff)

great vid. i got a question, do u use the force feedback when u guys drift with the racing wheel or do u turn it off? i just got my wheel and im trying to learn how to drift with it but its very much harder than the controller.

dunno about force feedback, but it sure helps when the steering wheel comes back rapidly where it was before you turned it (some wheels don't)
as for my advice, i would start off without it, and when i got the habit of the wheel, THEN i would use force feedback

i always have it on. it makes it feel WAYYY more realistic. if you drift in real life you'll appreciate the subtle cues the wheel will give you. good luck dude

I learned how to counter-steer through the entire turn, but instead of using a steering wheel I use a controller.

Sanjose64xl, incase u didnt no.. that move that supra80 did, is called dirt drop drift...get ur fax right before u dis someone..and he is obviously a drift legend coz i dont see u doin any better. U can diss me coz i just started driftin in that game but dyam forza drifting is harder the you think Sanjose64xl...so plz get ur fax right...im sure everyone else agrees (if i spelt anything wrong sorry)!!!!!!!!

WOW. Way to go on making up "Drift Moves". Lol. There is no such thing as a "Dirt Drop Drift". In fact, there are no "moves" in the Drift world. You have your basic techniques, Feint, Clutch Kick, Power-Over, and more. Get a clue kid. You think Forza Drifting is hard? LOL. Try drifting a REAL car bucko.

But u do no ur watching a forza drift video and there is such a move as Dirt Drop Drift....u obviously havent done ur research...man if u really drift in real life u should no that...and btw why do u haters always compare a game to real life.

I'm in Amateur Drift self funded for 3 years, that amounts to alot of money put into tires and maintaining my car. Do you think I would waste even MORE of my time researching dumbass names for stupid moves that shouldn't even be classified as a drift move? Hell no! As far as I'm concerned a Dirt Drop Drift does not exist, and will not be needed when I'm drifting. The reason real life Drifters compare a game to real life, is that in a game there are 60% less variables you have to worry about kid.

I am to a self funded amateur drifter , but at least i dont go braggin about it.. and no the research is not a waste of time. It can help you in situations like when ur about to spin out. I am aware that the games are nothing like real life..thats why they call it a game.
