you cannot compare two different artists. Lady gaga is pop, holmegren is a sort of old heavy metal, it's too much different.

Peter has the same note in the rhytm (you know E string), if you would play what Gaga sings she sings almost the same tone all the time in the verse (I don't know if it is E though).

The main thing here is too make a comparison between today's popular music and a talent guitarplayer who isn't that famous but definitely has a great talent playing his instrument. Many would say Lady Gaga is a good singer, but it isn't much more than that. Rock is better than pop.
