This is EXACTLY why I prefer Tyler/Caroline over Matt/Caroline. Matt (in 2x16) was scared/judged Caroline right off the bat when he learned she was a vampire. He accused her of killing Vicki when she wasn't even a vamp then. Tyler/Caroline had a better chance to connect and be honest w/ each other. I wonder if Tyler will come back and be mad at Matt for breaking their promise.

@kupazdupy69 OMG I LOVE YOU! Personally, I think the Elena/Stefan/Damon love triangle is extremely predictable too (I don't ship any of them to each other, btw). But I hate how Damon is made evil while Elena and Stefan are both selfless and flawless - flawless - as in personality, eg. not insecure or a dick. Unlike how Care and Ty started. From a shallow cheerleader and a dickheaded jock to compassionate vampire and sensitive werewolf. Those two have THE BEST character development in the show.

In my opinion, matt and caroline wouldn't have gone anywhere. it was mostly because he didn't want to acknowledge their relationship or he wasn't over elena, plus he couldn't handle caroline and gave up way to easily. forwood can challenge and understand eachother. As for tyler finding out the secrets, it's a must. he needs to know. him being angry then forgiving will prove that forwood's ment to be. true love never ran smoothly. even tho i'm scared, i'm sure tyler will forgive her. hopefully...

@inurin1350 Well, he will be angry at first because he told her all his secrets, but then he HAS to realise that his uncle was out of danger (or actually dead while the other vampires were still there in danger. She was protecting Tyler, I mean if not for her taking care of his transformation Damon would have killed him off before the moon even was visible. So I wouldn't worry about the secrets - BUT Mason's death is another thing! She knew he was killed by her friends/allies.

@inurin1350 Usually these types of triangles ALWAYS end up with two outcomes co-dependant: a friendship ruined though later rebuilt never the same again + it always blows up in the girl's face! EVENTUALLY she WILL choose, but right now I think something will go wrong so she first ends up with nothing, and only later on will have both of the guys back to make a real choice. Probably when Tyler comes to terms with her secrets and Mason's death... eventually though, she WILL have to make her choice

I think being in agony for a night is a lot better than fighting off the urge to kill your family/friends. I think werewolves get all the pain that vampires get in one shot, whereas vampires don't get that much pain, but it's spread out over a FAR longer span of time.

@VivianMcKillian It's not just about the physical pain. Vampires only change once while werewolves have to change every month. They retain their humanity the rest of the time which means they are more likely to feel like freaks and outcasts, while vampires just go with the flow... of blood. Vampires live forever but werewolves can have kids, but they are aware they could pass on their curse and might choose not to have any out of fear.
