i gave this game a quick play since you posted it frank, i figured out if you press the button when the "1" part of the spinner is to the right, you almost always get 8,7,6. you can control the number you get if you time it right :D
Oddly enough, housewife if one of the toughest jobs in the game, i'va played two rounds until now and the housewife manages to win (or at least gets 2nd place)
@AhazuBalan On the tax spaces, the first person to land on them gets a $10K bonus and no taxes are against them, and the rest of the players get a 10% tax and places them on the tax square, so what happened to Cess could happen to anyone. Beware, but try to get there first.
@MarioNavi I guess that's one of the benefits of being ahead of the other players. Still seems a little odd that Tax spaces reward ANYONE, though. I wonder what happens if a player is still in middle/high school when someone hits a tax space. Maybe they get automatically aged up.
@AhazuBalan I don't know, since my knowledge of this game is very limited and since there is no translation of this game nor it's others, I played this one almost to completion.

7:22 I believe, if I translated correctly with the little Japanese I know, Sumo Franku was arrested for stealing, which is how you got that one arrest (and had to skip a turn back then)

It's a loop, you see. The Frank from the past went to sumo and beat "Some dude" that looked like him and inspired him to be a sumo wrestler. So by losing to his past self got his career in the future.

2:38, Takurou-san became a comedian. He's wearing that float with a duck head thingie. 3:50, not too sure, seems like he's a truck driver now. Man, isn't this the same guy who was previously a soccer player and political secretary?

Hope you don't mind the occasional pseudo-translation spam, just thought I'd share some of the amusing bits you guys encountered to the best of my very limited Japanese.

Frank, in the future, can you leave the Japanese on the screen a little longer? I'm enjoying this, but pausing it because you get rid of it too fast is a bit annoying.
The sad thing is, there are actually people that have babies just for the Child Tax Credit, a la Bender in Futurama.
