@TheAssesKicker people don't want to vote for him just because he's gay. I want to vote for him because of his stance on the issues but he also fights and stands up for what he believes is right. We need that kind of determination in our government.
I love this guy, I've been researching him like crazy and finally a republican that I feel I can relate and stand behind. So many are conservative homophobic people, and he's so refreshing. I hope we see more of him around. I'll vote for him!!
I have met and talked to Fred. Although I think he is an amazing activist, he is just that. I believe that his policies are not fresh or new and are in line with the policies that have gotten us into this mess. He is a strong supporter of massive deregulation and his economic policies are just as conservative as the other GOP candidates. Fred, you are a great activist and spokesperson for the LGBT community and I support your efforts but all of your other policies are not fresh and new.
@palatiality I did not mention religion. Ancient original spiritual & moral documents are notreligion.Christians disregard most of the original Bible,& the Talmud is a book of commentaries. It is not the Torah. In the original books anything that leads to destruction, including damage to our phys.,social,or mental health, is prohibited. The healthiest & longest lived(thereby strong, not weak) peoples in the world are those who follow a natural & agricultural lifestyle as demonstrated in these books.
Well, unfortunately they are all wrong. America as a whole still slanders the gay population, and that is why in the past and up to this point in time no elections or voting competitions have been won with an openly gay contestant. My example: Adam Lambert - and you all know that is true. I don't disagree with the people's choice because the majority of the population (99%) is heterosexual, and generally people relate more with people that are the same sexual orientation.
@meeee I'm a democrat, but I'd consider voting for him so far based on he fact that he seems like he is interested it helping students such as I (just looking out for myself here). We'll see how it goes...
@ZIONISTMAN1 his point in stating all his work for the gay community is that he is willing to fight for things he believes in. It shows in his fight to participate in the republican debates as well.

What the fuck is wrong with those people? Just because he's gay doesn't mean you should vote for him. He's not going to win anyway.

I can't tell. I'm very open to a gay republican but I have absolutely no idea what his stances are.
