Last week, I got laid off from AT&T after 13 years of working there, so I'm getting a kick out of this video.

Brilliant. Spread the word. Also, never return calls or voice mails, don't acknowledge emails or text messages, and get interrupted by a real or imaginary assistant or another call in the middle of a discussion or negotiation and then ask the person to repeat what they just said...all these are effective tactics in creating a "major player" persona. Also good, losing your temper and being sarcastic and condescending are good for building a reputation as someone to be reckoned with....

I always make sure to tell people call between 10 and noon on Mondays and Thursdays to build up the suspense, then drop them a few minutes in.
