i have a blackstar ht club 40 will this pedal get me much more distortion than the amp on its own with the gain full?

I have used this Pedal A LOT and tried it through several amps ( both tube driven and Transistor amps ).

The DistX is KILLING !!!!

I don't even have to bring an amp to the shows anymore, I just play the one that is already on stage.

All I need is a clean channel !!!!

im so sick of this guy and his hair elastics on the neck. It really is soooooooo much easier to play fast with that thing on the neck dampening everything that you're not fretting. I mean, I can see "the boy can play" (duh) but this really is cheating. It's like a healthy guy running in the paralympics.....

@greatar Disagree.....The effect of the hairband is really subtle, nothing like the muters that MAB sells. He's far from the only person who does this. Plus, a better analogy would be like saying Usain Bolt could run in the Olympics, but he wouldn't be allowed to wear his favorite runners. If the tool's there, use it.

Christ, same could be said for people who use Jazz III picks. "It makes it easier to pick fast and clean thats cheating hurr durr".

@Blackstaramps Im looking for something to drive the front of my SS Crate amp. i have a Davison 7 string(basswood) with a Dimarzio Dsonic in the bridge that will soon have a BMP 1 put in it and a Schecter Damien Elite with 81/85's that will soon have the 18v mod put in. i was wondering what would be best for everything hot and heavy from AC/DC to Oceano, this or the HT-DIST. i just cant really decide and seeing as how they seem pretty close to me i was wondering if you guys could help me out: :)

@TimDovey Het Tim, thank you for a kind reply for once. I got a lot of flaming and stuff. I thought I had removed all my comments, but apparently forgot this one. I'll check it out. I checked some live work from him recently and it was all with the hairband unfortunately. I tried a hairband on my guitars and for me it really really makes a big difference. apparently the rest of guitar world disagrees.. anyway, let's all enjoy guitar music and rock on!

Andy uses my exact setting on the American setting!!. I use an HT100 head and S1 4x12a almost the same rig too!. With an Explorer and an Eclipse, both loaded with EMGs.
