From the leaves of the orchids, they are not so nice, may be too dry and kept in warm house, bad ventilation, no good. Leave tell us they are not healthy. That is what I know.
Cymbidium grow very well in higher latitude 30 degrees North and South, need plenty of sun light with wind the best. They can stand in cool weather and give flowers in early spring. You can water it up to twice daily. I kept them in Pretoria, South Africa, up on the hill, it grew nicely but they passed away when I brought them back to Hong Kong, because too wet and hot.

This clip is potentially confusing to a new orchid grower. It uses only the general term "orchid" and implies that all orchids can be cared for in this way. That is not correct. The info in this clip is specific to one kind of orchid, a Cymbidium and the care instructions given are for Cymbidium. Unfortunately they don't tell you that. Some orchids would die if given the kind of care recommended in the clip. It also contains a factual error.
