What memories I have of this place. My grandmother worked there in the 60s, I worked there in 90-91 while in college. If it reopens it will never really be the same...so many things were torn down, rides taken out, and when the Dreamland Ballroom burned I knew it would never be the same.
Best memory was the Sunday of the super street nationals car show in 1998. Got up way early Sunday morning and watched the sun come up by the beach bar on the boardwalk.. Fantastic place and if it goes away it will be a tragedy..

I was talking to a manager of the beach bar. ITS OPENING in 2 weeks. THE HOTEL...opening on Labor DAY. THE OCTOBERFEST..IS ON. THE PARK?????? I had to ask. is opening in 2009. Hotel Conneaut. Being scared of ghosts. Taking cameras in everytime to se if we could see anything..

I really hope someone buys it so i can live those memories with my family

I remember when.
The beach bar was packed.
You couldn't see any sand.
People playing volleyball & partyin harddd.
The round up all lighten up in the night
chills through the cool wind.

I hope someone will come forward and buy the park, make the nesecary repairs and reopen the park soon.

Very sad. I never got a chance to visit Conneaut, but if by some miracle it re-opens someday, I'll be there.
