The rescue of the dog in the video was amazing? We had to hover next to a second floor porch and the dog had to jump into the cargo compartment. He was rewarded with about four packs of penut butter crackers and a bottle of water!
Anyone who says that there wasnt enuff done to save ppl in Katrina are dead wrong- for gosh sake the Army would send a chopper to rescue a single person on a roof top. All that time, fuel, and effort spent to rescue a single person is worth it!

I'm teaching a Medevac class next Saturday(Nov 3rd), I would love to show this video as my lead in. I'm having a difficult time saving it to thumb drive. My class is for the Florida National Guard. Any help would be great.

Georgia Army National Guard. There are still a few Army units flying the Huey H and V models.
