PArt of the Lackawanna Railroads Old Route in or near Columbia, NJ. The Manuka Chunk Tunnels were at the junction where the Pennsylvania Railroad and Lackawanna met. Station closed in 1913 due to flooding which was common. The Lackawanna Cutoff took over this Old Route. Tunnel is about 1,000 feet long and is curved at the Western end. 4 mi East is another tunnel that contained a gauntlet track. Then it was on to Washington, NJ.
