Pretty much all of the additions look completely out of place, especially ridiculous 'comic relief' stuff Lucas thought it would be brilliant to add in (No.). It goes from annoying and stupid to outright eye cancer because they thought they were doing a great job and it's CGI from something like 1997. Hideous low-poly, low-res retinal acid.

In later revisions they re-redid Jabba at least, so he didn't look like a brown smudge, but still left the other crap effects there.
