sadly rendering is really the only thing lightwave is really good at. the modeling tools feel like they are a decade behind. no retopolgy tools. accessing actions in modeler with its bland UI takes too long at times and most modeling techniques take an extra 3 or 5 steps compared to other industry leading modeling softwares. don't even ask how it handles ngons.
@Tristansletter Stop dreaming, you know what happen to EVERY product that autodesk buy... it doesn't evolve anymore. They are good at marketing and have lot of money, but they don't develop. Lightwave also have a REALLY strong community which give it a really interesting approach at 1/5th of the price of 3D Max lol

@zapper1998 You can deform but is is not as fast as just moving camera around at the moment, I am sure it will improve, it is still beta. ;)
