some of the better flash mob videos I've seen all seem to come from Milan actually, but the best so far (that I've seen) is do-re-mi at the Belgium train station. Most of the American ones have little to no choreography, or are advertisements for something, which makes them less cool. What's with all the hand clapping in this one I felt like I was watching "A redneck Chrismas" during the line dancing scene

My only concern is if you had 1,000 people, who weigh an average of 150 pounds each, all stomping the floor at the same time to the beat, that is 75 tons hitting the floor in rhythmic tempo. If they were close enough together and stomping hard enough it could exceed structural limitations for an upper floor. Safer to do it on solid pavement if you had a lot of people doing it like I describe.
