  • I've always wanted to go there just to see what it's like. This place fascinates me.

  • @Quarantine441 Same Chernobyl and Centralia our the two ghost places I want to vist before I die

  • This disaster fascinated and frightened me as a child.... I found this film quite moving...

  • 28 days later is a movie that this song was featured in. fucking idiots have no respect

  • TO THE FUCKING IDIOTS WHO ONLY KNOW ABOUT THIS BECAUSE OF YOUR LITTLE COD4, NO ONE CARES. SHOW SOME RESPECT YOU FUCKING CUNTS! WHO CARES ABOUT YOUR RETARDED VIDEO GAMES, YOU LOSERS, MILLIONS OF PEOPLE FELL VICTIM TO THIS HORRIBLE INCIDENT AND YOU'RE GOING TO TALK ABOUT MODERN WARFARE? YOU FUCKING IDIOTS NEED TO BE TAUGHT A LESSON.

  • @GamingIlluminated There is a video game called STALKER which is made by Ukrainians, it's based off of the term "Chernobyl Stalking". It's a science fiction game but it's extremely accurate when it comes to design and map style. That's how I learned about this place.

  • @Curassus hahah , im playing it right now.. im about to enter the underground tunnel

  • 28 days?seriously?

  • 28 yaers,my friend.I think.because the buildings are allready ruined.and because you could not walk in the area after only 28days.you sould be dead now from the radiation or the soviet soldiers shot you on sight at that time

  • @gradina80 The uploader does not mean that the footage is from 28 days after the incident. The music used in the video appears in a film called 28 days later. If you watch the film you will understand why this music has been used for this video (and tbh it's a really good watch).

  • This is truely horrific... I just can't watch anymore... It's so bad even the video quality is all fucked up!

  • 1:41 se ve alguien en el reflejoo jujuj D:

  • Verry sad to think man kind did this to themselves and just as sad it had to happen in again in fucoshima probubly did not spell that correctly but then mother nature dose it also are we really ever safe from our own bad judgment my heart goes out to all the people ever affected by these types of disasters.

  • @2fast65 You are a 39-year-old American. Please learn to use proper English.

  • Filmed with toaster?

  • @arttukoira Your IQ = Toaster.

  • I like to listen to this song while I contemplate on life ha

  • I remember when this happened. Everyone rushed to buy jodi from the farmacist. I live close to russian border, luckily the radiation poison cloud didn't come down close to us. But even today we wonder is there some radiation in the forest berries and mushroomsand fish. And wheter some cancers today are because of the cloud.

  • whats the music please?

  • @Tokatt READ THE DESC

  • This is my favourite song of all time. I fucking love GY!BE

  • y no puedo creer esto, suena como irreal, una ciudad fantasma, al a que no se puede pasar por la invisible radiacion

  • Viva S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Y EL FUSIL GAUSS

  • There will be life again. I felt terrible when I saw this. Through 1000 years, people will live there, there will be no radiation .. I'd like to experience it, to see life again there. But, time will do its work.

  • CALL OF DUTY 4 IN SO MISSION CAN SEE REALL CHERNOBYL HOW IS LOOK !! ITS HORIBLE

  • @justelisISkauno I think S.T.A.L.K.E.R. shows best of Chernobyl..!!

  • 28 days later???? looks like ....years later.

  • @callesvidessalvador It was a power output surge at reactor 4 which caused the reactor to rupture and explode.

  • @callesvidessalvador I agree, this has to be years later. I wonder if the person who uploaded the video is trying to refer to a movie somehow?

  • @BMuris the soundtrack is from the movie, this was filmed in the late 90's I think

  • Fuckin sadness...

  • Wish this video was higher quality - then it'd be perfect.

  • Nuclear power is safe, Chernobyl continued to operate despite it safety devices off line for maintenance (human error). In Japan they built a nuclear power plant in both a Tsunami and Earthquake zone, need I say more?

  • this is a reminder of what can happen here at home how safe are we i sure dont feel safe in a world were this could happen may god help us all

  • this song reminds me of a zombie apocalypse O_O

  • heard there are a lot of ghost there at night, especially the hospital

  • @ramendan its true I accadentaly summoned A Poltrogyst from there now its stuck to me it calls itself D

  • @ramendan heard you're full of shit.

  • SNORKS AROUND HERE

  • you want to say: 28 YEARS later

  • it would seem a disaster in the only answer for silence on this earth so that nature can repopulate sad that thats what man is destructive

  • those people who lived there some of them they might be dead with the hope that their family can come back there but it steel 1000 years or more that told us the teacher so thats why i am watching this videos is sooo interesting and sad but i really wannna go there i didnt knew about this place it because im 12 and im a girl but i really wanna go there¡¡

  • @TheJennyVideo what does being a girl got to do with not knowing something ? :D

i think its a beautiful quiet place. id like to live there, if it wasnt for the radiation

  • @Individualpsychologe actually nowadays chernobyl has less radiation than many of todays world capitals because its not being polluted by factories, litter etc and the ukrainian government is now trying to repopulate the area

  • @Individualpsychologe lol i dont know what it does being a gorl with this haha lol i put steel XD!!

  • humanity is so selfdestructed....in chernobyl still have very high level of radiaton...

  • GY!BE

  • I HATE THE WORLD

  • awesome video and awesome modern warfare reproduction of this city

  • where are the zombies?

  • I LOVE THIS CITY! NO TRAFFIC!!!

  • It's incredible to see that Chernobyl even with the still remaining high radiation,in some places gets fully claimed back by nature, schools are filled with green and animals, rabbits, deers and such. I'd really want to go there for photography or filming..

It has a very Armageddon feel..no humans and everything is left as it was.

  • 28 years or days???

  • what did the sign say in the begining?

  • @XXxxMusicFanxxXX It doesn't translate.

  • Stalker Get out of here

  • in mother russia nuclear plant destroys you. oh wait not as funny.

  • Godspeed You! Black Emperor <3

  • nechapem tomu nazvu

  • I was Hear About City My father tell me First Time i was See Name On Game then father tell me When he Was 13 that happend Rellly sad :( God bles Cernobyl People :(

  • Crazy Shyt. Fukushima is gonna leave all of Japan (or at least anything downwind) like this if someone doesn't do something.

  • if i had a month, a lot of oxygen, pistol,a crew i would search every godam building in there because noone did and in some i could find money or else cool stuff

  • @CryDayLV " Money and Cool stuff" What you mean like rob it ?!

Why the hell whould you want to do that city is a memorial to the many people that died and the many more the suffered from the effects of the radiation.

Sure go to it explore it but do not start digging around in it I mean you would not go to a graveyard and dig up a grave and start proding the corps now whould you ?!

  • @CryDayLV P.S the money they used in Chernobyl was the Soviet Ruble no nation has used that for over 20 years.

  • @CryDayLV you do know that chernobyl is still radioactive and so is Prypiat so raiding through houses and touching things would result in cancer or radiation sickness, oh and your little oxygen tank wouldn't protect you from radiation :)

  • @CryDayLV You do still realise that Pripyat is also radiated, there is oxygen there and if you move through the border with radiated items you will be jailed.

  • @GrowlinKris STFU YOU DUMB IDIOT i alredy heard over 30 replys like this

  • i wil go to chernobyl with some firends to searching for survivors and lives

  • good work but really sad =(

  • Imagine if aliens chose to land in Chernobyl. They'd say "where the hell is everybody?"

  • im russian and my great grandfather died in the nuclear explosion

  • @peterpwnify it only happened 35 years ago and your channel says your from the USA

  • @tom360063 It happened 25 years ago.

  • @peterpwnify aww that sucks i still dont know how it exploded

  • @TheBullsfan19 You can find many documentaries about the accident. The basic story is that the reactors were working just fine until the engineers wanted to try a different approach that would save energy or be more energy efficient.

  • @BMuris perhaps you should watch some... no offence. It was a safety drill with the night team and a touch of mis communication leading to not enough control rods in reactor #4 and the water pumps being shut off..

  • @KraziIvan none taken, I have watched enough and educated myself. I do not feel that I have to educate people, I rather tell them to to do it on their own. You are correct about reactor #4, but it was an experiment that should have been performed by the day crew (more experienced engineers). Basically, they wanted to find out if the turbines could provide enough kinetic energy long enough to run the pumps until the generators kick in. Miscommunication was a part of the problem, yes.

  • @peterpwnify You have my condolences!

  • @peterpwnify Who gives a shit? Wtf kind of comment is that "Im a guy whos grandfather died in this disaster" i mean really ...

  • @peterpwnify

stupid lier you are form the states

  • Like this if you didn't learn about chernobyl from call of duty...

  • @CurtdotNewton i learnt about chernobyl in a libary. i saw a series of books and one of them was about chernobyl. i was suprised to see chernobyl in mw2 coz it has been so long scince the disaster that the massive funnel thing is still intact

  • @CurtdotNewton Who cares if we learned it from Call of Duty? It's because we were either too young, not born or uninformed that we never knew about this.

  • @CurtdotNewton THANK YOU A WHOLE FREAKING LOT.

  • @CurtdotNewton I thumbed up.

I learned about it from S.T.A.L.K.E.R.:>

  • @Oregonfall you're right he would be dead if it was 28 days after plus there would be a bunch people working on the sarcophagus

  • This is not 28 days later ;/ fake ;/

  • @Oregonfall I think everyone knows it ... its because of the film 28 days later ;)

  • Can you walk around now in that ghost city without getting any diseases or something like that?

  • @promaja2 you can just a small risk of cancer however you have a 25% chance of it anyways

  • f.u.c.k USA

  • Comment removed

  • Sadness, even more sad whith this song :((

  • This isn't a place that is good to walk in the day light.

  • Are there any restrictions to how freely u can move around chernobyl and pripyat?

  • @ManSmokingACigarette I think you need special permission or to be with a tour guide

  • @8redcoins

    That sucks balls.

  • I knew about Chernobyl way before cod4 lol but i find it sad that through out my years of highschool you never learn about things like this what can really terribly go wrong in society how the government can control you destroy the world you live around and be like its ok and censor life away the power we give them its great isn't it?

  • GYBE!

  • This is more like 2 decades later.

  • human try to steal fire from gods... and this is the result..

this fire is not for us... we should leave all uran where is it, and not try to stack together..

  • @cnccarving we didnt steal it prometheus the titan gave it to us and got punished by Zeus.

  • mikkeljs... what you seeing, possible the military left...

from next day military got over on everything.. they had to keep back people to moving back in their home...

at The coming events... who you talkin bout? the guys at three mile island? in 79?

well.... it could happened... i was not there

  • I wonder why all the buildings in Pripyat seems to have no glass in the windows, and all the ithings are so messy inside, like the grand piano that has been turned around. I mean, when people just left the place, what makes it look like its all exploded?

  • I only know about Chernobyl because of COD4.... Get mad.

  • No wonder there was a disaster they were all pissed at work on vodka.

  • @TheComingEvents2012 That is horrible to say that. They were testing a core cooling mechanism. Why does everyone think that all nationalities related to Russia get drunk on Vodka all the time? Truly you people need to go to Russia or Ukraine. It's not all drunks. -.-

  • @TheComingEvents2012 I'd say that I laughed because you're funny... But in the reality of it all, that wasn't the slightest bit funny.

  • @FPSDimitry ..because its worse then FEAR3? O_O

  • nice video....!

  • if you catch too much radioactivity, you're a dead man

  • @realkndman You can't catch radiation it radiates through you body eyes open and areas even with protective suits you still get it.

  • You know, I'm surprised terrorists don't sneak in there and just plant explosives on the sarcophagus and make it explode.

  • i dont wanna walk around that place at night...

  • @TranceAddict1989 that shit would be fun hahah XD

  • @TranceAddict1989 I would

  • @TranceAddict1989

    i would.

i wanna see if pyramid head is there. lol.

  • @TranceAddict1989 Ghost Hunters International should go there :P

  • @FredTF2 they already did :P

  • @14Bulletz They did? What episode was that

  • @FredTF2 idk i just seen it like 3 days ago

  • @TranceAddict1989 i dont want to walk around there at all

  • @TranceAddict1989

i would love that and at least once in my life i think i`ll go to some abandoned city of that area.

  • @TranceAddict1989 I would just love walk around there at night. Only you and the silent dark. If you here something you jump out of your pants from fear. You sit by a campfire and look around all the time shivering. What could be better?!

  • @TranceAddict1989 But there might be lollipops hidden somewhere!

  • @TranceAddict1989 Radiation + Disease + Night = ZOMBIES!!!!!!!!!

  • @TranceAddict1989 me too but i really wanna go there!! i love mistery things :D°

  • @TranceAddict1989 it'll be cool to know how chernobyl looks like at night.

  • woahhh i remember that Ferris wheel!! that is when soap and macmillan having a tough resistance... really too addicted am i???

  • @DoodleKshin12

It's pretty sad if you only know about Chernobyl because of a video game.

  • @vanman96 lol i was joking around.. did it in purpose just to make it obvious :) of course i knew this from the news and tv also learnt this from my history lesson

  • @vanman96 Hey man... don't say it's sad... Video games are a thing that is part of the new generation culture and they show us places and let's us get to know them... So what if they knew it from a game. I learned about Chernobyl from CoD4... and I respect Chernobyl. It would be sad if people learned about this place from a guy that makes fun of it. And there are a lot of people that do that.

  • @rfcb200 To play devils advocate I think the statement about you learning from a game was not a personal attack. In many ways the educational system fails at teaching thing's like this since it is simply dismissed as unimportant history. So while it is great that you indeed learned about it it is sad that you had to be taught from a game and not from a history teacher.

  • @Numanore hmm now that I see ur perspective ur quite right... Actually the only things I learned about todays history were some treeties and robotica and terrorism...

  • @vanman96

better than not knowing at all ;)

  • @vanman96 I agree on that because people then dont understand the truth what really was. About the horror that happened there.

  • @vanman96 why u say that? u know it better? and video games are cool btw...stalker soc is so misterious and it makes me like i really want to be there..i know its not ok but i like that ..i don't know why ..it's sad but at the same time interesting and with the video game u can go there ...and the atmosphere..omg

  • @vanman96 glad im not the only one that thinks the same way

  • @DoodleKshin12 It's Price not Soap... And yes, you're really addicted if you post a comment about that in a vid like this. IW made a great choice by making two missions in Chernobyl, they both are very stressful and emotional missions. When you listen good in the parts you're in Prypyat, you can hear children playing. It's scary, really bone chilling and gives you a haunted feeling. Yes, this mission was beautiful. It made Call of Duty 4 an even more special game.

  • Ukraine

  • Hey if you like Godspeed You Black Emperor then check out Grey Skies Fallen on my channel!

  • THATS 28 days later? It looks the same as it does 25 YEARS later. lol. this town must of been shit to begin with.

  • @TheEgg185 Not at all. It was a thriving city.

  • @TripleRainbowify then why does it look like shit only 28 DAYS later?

  • @TheEgg185 The Chernobyl accident left the city of Pripyat completely abandoned, due to the radiation that was leaked when the Chernobyl power plant had an explosion on 4/26/1986. This is footage of the city, set to music featured in "28 Days Later". "East Hastings", to be exact.

  • they say the walkers still walk amongst chernobyl...

  • is this in russia or england?

  • @VideoFilmGuyAtNight It is in Ukraine. It is the site of one of the worst nuclear disasters in history (if not the worst). Chernobyl is the name of the nuclear power plant that went into meltdown. I believe this is shot in Pripyat which was a town built for all the workers involved in running the power plant. The whole area had to be evacuated and abandoned.

  • looks like an abandoned building that went to the dogs loved the music and enjoyed the vid.

  • КАчество гуамно, с телефона снимали чтоле?

  • Now for something that's ACTUALLY RELATED TO THE VIDEO:

That is so sad! The poor city, it looks so... Ominous... Like something from a zombie movie, and the music only helps xD I'm glad that's never happened (Or at least I don't think) In the States... Although if it did I'd probably go there xD

  • parece una pelicula, pero es cierto

  • You' lot, come on, stop bickering, and swearing, Be productive, solve some real probs...

  • Very good video! It shows how dangerous atomic energy can be. Really spooky this town of pripyat today....

  • The video is of Pripyat, yes?

It was evacuated the day after the Chernobyl reactor blew.

The town was established to house workers of the power plant.

Goodness knows how contaminated the place still is, but the fact civilians are allowed there to film this says something.

  • This was not 28 days later its a copy of a video on youtube already! IT WAS TAKEN IN 2006 CALLED "Ghost city Chernobyl" LOOK IT UP

  • This was not 28 days later its a copy of a video on youtube already! IT WAS TAKEN IN 2006 CALLED "Ghost city Chernobyl"

  • 500 000 people lived here, and now it's a ghost town !

    -From COD Modern warfare

  • @MrThekillerFR you mean 50000

  • days ? years ?

  • You guys are talking like you know everything, like the owner's knowledge. Nobody owns him. Argue over silly things, ridiculous things compared to the disaster of Pripyat. Now that is sad to see a city so abandoned, and they make games on this, as Stalker.

  • thats incredibly sad... poor families that lived there

  • Suits pefectly.

Just a haunted wasteland.once thriving. but just now deserted and empty. Sad and dark stuff. But just to think that people will die slow, painful deaths just because of that one moment back 25 years ago.

  • omg CoD 4 MW

  • @DJChiefX197 WOULD YOU SHUT UP ABOUT THAT!!!

I find it very disrespectful if somebody is here just from COD4. That made a mockery of this disaster. This place should just be laid to rest. But one day it won't be here.

  • @8redcoins sorry, wasn't trying to be disrespectful

  • agree, it's years after disaster, not 28 days :D

  • intact for 25 years...the time stopped there

  • I already know that somebody else filmed this video and put it on youtube. I've seen it.

  • 777 778 watcher.. damn...

  • of course this is not 28 days after the disaster.... I would say is 20 years after the disaster.... and you idiot not laugh....thousands of people die be
