I have been a fan of Lindas since 1972. However, I attended two concerts in the 1990's, and not political rallies, where she lashed out against people she did not agree with politically, me included, in the most disrespectful and insuting way. Wonderful singing, but are they lip synching? Don't seem to be. This is the full studio recording of the instruments....including steel and a twelve string guitar....I think. Loved Linda and Emmylou for many many years. Saw Linda at the Orpheum theater in Boston with Lowell George circa 1973 and emmylou first in 1977 in Western Mass.
Early to mid 90s.....you can tell Linda is beginning to put on some weight here. But the thing is, even though Emmylou's voice is beginning to crack due to years of smoking, all 3 of them still sound just as strong as ever, even today.

Ronstadt was diagnosed with Hashimoto's thyroiditis in 1997, an autoimmune disease attacking the thyroid, which has contributed to her weight gain over the years... no matter what size.. she is a beautiful woman who has an amazing gift for making music.

I think its amazing to watch these three performers together; each has her own style, image and magnetism. Dolly is such a giving personality and has that delicate voice with a touch of vulnerability and always graciousness; Linda's voice is like the finest of musical instruments and she makes it appear effortless while she thrills us; and Emmy Lou projects a kind of emotional introspectiveness and clarity through her singing. These women have performance chemistry in spades!

My lifetimes ambition is to get the the USA and see Emmylou Harris live just once before I die.

This must be what an angel choir sounds like. Nice band too- Carl Jackson, guitar; Larry Franklin, fiddle; Sam Bush, mandolin. Unsure about the bass player.

I think its amazing to watch these three performers together; each has her own style, image and magnetism. Dolly is such a giving personality and has that delicate voice with a touch of vulnerability and always graciousness; Linda's voice is like the finest of musical instruments and she makes it appear effortless while she thrills us; and Emmy Lou projects a kind of emotional introspectiveness and clarity through her singing. These women have performance chemistry in spades!

Ps.... My oppinion, Linda does have the better voice. Much stronger and much more power behind how she sings. I love Dolly but Linda voice is so much better than Emma and Dolly. I realy never got into emma's songs. SHE IS A GREAT SINGER BUT NOTHING COMPARED TO LINDA'S VOICE, THATS FOR SURE.

In thier own rights, i feel that Dolly is the most celebrated artist on that stage. tho they had thier own Genre of music, own style, Dolly had reached Legendary status yrs ago. SHE HAS HAD MORE HITS, MORE AWARDS AND HAD MORE CLASS. i wonder how emma and linda felt to be able toshare the stage with Dolly. I bet Dolly never felt like she was btter artist but also felt blessed to sing with gifted artist like Linda and emma. thats being humble and showing respect. Dolly is so wonderful!

@jonwhite20 This is so wrong it's silly. Go and read about Linda Ronstadt. Dolly Parton might have been more famous in popular culture but Ronstadt was the biggest musical success and was the first woman to fill up stadiums in male dominated rock and roll. Ronstadt was on the cover of Time when that mattered. Don't think Dolly ever had that honor. Linda was the biggest selling female artist in music from 1975-1983. How Dolly felt sharing the stage with Linda Ronstadt? Ridiculous.

This is the sound from heart. It is so unforgettable. I bought the cassette from Massachusetts and listened it in Florida. It always reminded me the Orlando, the Sun, the rain, the hot, the cold, the dry, the wet, and the downtown limo...

If you have any doubts about Linda's range, you should know that she also sang Soprano in "Pirates of Penzance." She has an incredible range and has a powerhouse voice. Dolly has a good voice, but no one would call her a "belter."

This is Linda R- thanks for all your kind comments onm my singing ability! Anyway, I just want to lety you all in on a little-known fact. You see, Dolly's Breasts are not her own. When she was 17 she worked in an old-fashioned bakery- that used the old-style roller system to flatten it's products before canning them. Anyway, she leaned forward too much on a hot day with only a T-shirt on. Yep! you guessed it- she got her tits in a ringer. They were lost - hers are now false
