I started on Androgel in April 04, switched to shots in November. For me the shots work better. as far as acne goes I find that if my estrogen gets out of balance that is what causes that as opposed to the peeks from the shots. I do weekly shots 100mg (.5cc). I take DIM to control estrogen.

It seems to have a slightly slower or slighter affect than the injectable. My T levels are slightly lower on the gel. That said, they're still within normal adult male levels, so my doc didn't raise my dose.
Nope, other than a slight change to my hair line, I've had no hair loss. Which is pure luck, because my grandfather was bald before 30.
If you are taking too much testosterone you can have rapid hair loss, so get your levels checked and make sure you're staying within a normal range of T.

Hang in there dude. 2 weeks is pretty early. Testosterone takes a while to show it's effects and everyone's body is different. I hope you sort out why you're experiencing fatigue and pain. I have fibromyalgia and my energy and muscles have improved since starting T, maybe you'll have similar results, but it's been a gradual thing thing for me. I didn't notice any changes till about 5 or 6 weeks I think when my voice started sounding froggy. Thought I was getting a cold.

Despite your assumptions and word choice, this is a valid concern. Many people do use more testosterone than prescribed out of a false belief it will do more. Tho if you watched my videos, you'd probably realize I'm seeing a physician and taking the prescribed amount, getting my levels checked regularly, etc.

you are correct, the T itself does cause your body to produce more of it's own oil. The question becomes why is there more acne with the injectible which is suspended in oil, than with the versions not suspended in oil.
I would guess that's because of better absorption of the T. There are limited things that T is soluble in, and vegetable oil would be the only one of them that would be safe and painless to inject.

Injecting a vegetable oil wouldn't turn around and come out your pores. I think the T itself causes your body to produce more of its own oil.
