  • The Insanity continues.

Einstein said, "Insanity, Is the act of doing the same thing over and over expecting a different result".

Here we go again, voting for one of the two parties that keeps screwing everything up.

Is the American public ever going to learn??

  • It's a GovernMENTAL set up Ron Paul is against an organized corrupt system - Obama is weak. OBama is a fraud that lame stream media supports not American patriots - What if we enter a war with Iran and China fires a missile due to us meddling in other people’s business? What if they are right? Obamanation of America

  • RON PAUL 2012, lets get out country back. Lets restore what our founding fathers gave us. The gov is out of control. RON PAUL 2012.

Anyone who vote for anyone else is for the illuminati, one world order, one world bank, slavery. World Population reduction by 90%.

Wake up america vote for RON PAUL 2012

  • This is how we elect the leader of the most powerful nation in the world????

  • This is absolutely Democracy in action!

  • I think this is awesome

  • I can't believe I stood by obama to. Ron Paul 2012!

  • Democrats are idiots, can't believe I used to stand by them. Republicans are idiots too, I can't believe I stand by them now. Ron Paul 2012!

  • What the fuck? i can think of a better system in half a second.

    Make lines.

  • THAT'S RIGHT, OBAMA, OBAMA, OBAMA!

In all seriousness, caucuses are peculiar.

  • Interesting.

  • this is what the DEMOCRATS do in iowa.... republicans just use a ballot. per usual, democrats have an inefficient and chaotic method compared to republicans

  • Did I seriously hear someone admit that they weren't allowed to vote in this state (Iowa) and yet they are still able to participate in this caucus??? That's FRAUD.

  • @chelle329 No, she was saying she wished she could vote, but she can't, so she didn't. Still pretty chaotic.

  • This looks like so much fun.

  • haha its true! my government teacher just explained this to us... oh lord.

  • Thank you for creating and uploading this video. As a person from a state where caucuses aren't used, I have always wondered what it was like inside. Looks like madness with too many opportunities for dirty dealings. Not that it's better anywhere else.

  • Well that's not fair. Of course they are going to be more people voting for "no"

  • The overzealous secretary is the type of person that makes people hate democracy - someone who takes an ounce of power and lets it go to their heads. I feel bad for that Biden supporter. He's right, you can't come in, but you can go out? I'm glad that was caught on tape.

  • democracy in action?

  • As a Canadian, this was a very interesting video. Our political systems are very different and because of this I am not very familiar with how the democratic process works in America. This has shed some light on the grassroots of democracy. It may seem very confusing but I think it's what the foundation of democracy is all about - people getting together in a big room and making their opinion, judgement and vote count.

  • can you say "ball of confusion"

  • This seems stupid

  • Democracy is two wolves and a sheep voting on what to have for dinner.

NO!!! Biden can't have 10 minutes to make himself Viable.

    Primary Day...Nationwide.

This is a betrayal of our trust to Iowa to get the priveledge to go first in the election process.

This looks like a corn husking.

  • Viable?

    IOWA is barely viable!!!

    Time to start over.

  • Comment removed

  • This must be among the most idiotic ways to run a primary system. Why not just have a national primary day, or, if that's not quite feasible, a SECRET fucking SYSTEM, rather than the moronic horse-race we have?

  • You call that a democracy? That's the worst load of bull I've ever seen. Hope that's not what you're trying to introduct in Iraq.

  • OK, of course the only people who'll want more time for Biden are the Biden supporters, who will, of course by out-numbered by "everyone else," who will, of course, not want people taken away from their choices or to spend any more time in that room. BRILLIANT way of running things...!

  • Obama supporter - abstract formal chants of slogans

Edwards supporter - convincing and reasoning

    Clinton supporter - dirty tricks

    That was revealing.

Too bad all three of them are CFR whores...

  • This is ridiculous.

  • What a farce! Thank you, REAL NEWS for pulling back the curtain on the travesties ignored by the mainstream media.

  • I agree. THIS actually is news, unlike the tripe MSNBC, CNN, and Fox News spent their time covering: basically, just telling us crap we know and don't want to know about the candidates, and re-iterating the numbers again and again as they came in. This video actually helped me understand the caucus reality better -- again, thanks.

  • some times it's the little things

  • All those in favor of the next American revolution say...

  • Revolution...

    Revoluttion....

    Revolution...

  • The illusion of democracy in process... This bullshit method is designed to make it difficult for lesser known candidates' campaigns to gain traction.

  • caucus wtf , bullshit

  • is this a joke wtf kind of process is this shit.

  • Battle of memes in action.

  • Whoever shouts louder and gives more bribes wins.

:( I am so damn sad from this. No wonder Paul got 10%. A message isn't as strong as we wish it was.

  • O..m...g

  • .

    AMERICA LOVES CORPRATISM!

    .

  • Reminds me of mobocracy.

  • reminds me of kindergarten

  • I used to think the British House of Commons had the most cavalier and shambolic way to conduct democratic debate in the entire world, with their characteristic "yah-boo" politics.

But now I see - and should have guessed - that America would be the nation to be able to do "cavalier and shambolic democracy" on an unheard-of unprecedentedly larger scale.

  • isn't this how they pick the president for a 2nd grade class.

  • This is disgusting the way that was. If I change who I go with because of others then why would I be there in the first place. Doesn't that defeat the purpose of me being there? If I don't want them, I don't, it's not "well I guess so, if everyone else wants me to". People should sometimes stop and look at what there doing and ask themselves "Is this what I really want"

  • Democracy in action!

    I'm scared.

  • You think this is bad, look into Wyoming.

  • Unbeleiveable. This is America, the promoter of democracy around the world.... I need to go and look up the definition of denmocray....

  • whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat?!!

  • This is the stupidest shit I've seen yet with the caucuses and debates.

  • This is probably the one most uncivilized approach I've ever seen. This is just so not efficient and unfair.

  • Drinks and dinner for votes? A delegate slot for a vote? What's going on here?

  • this is democracy? looks like collusion to me

  • Oh ... My ... God

  • The caucus is terribly undemocratic in nature. Primaries are much, much more fair.

  • slighty. Apparently money is the deciding factor in Primaries.
