  • he heh, he has chubby legs. ^.^

  • @ZimmermanHound I know right? I was watching this and was brainwashed, now I only eat calves feet jelly while reading the Communist manifesto and constantly marching for Gay Pride! Ban this rubbish!

  • @Jezeballerina Something similar happened to me! After watching this is I immediately began burning the British flag whilst screaming marxist propoganda at passers by before forging fake passports for illegal homosexual Israeli immigrants. lol that guy below is pretty paranoid :P

  • This is great. I've always wondered what did they eat or as a matter of the "way of life" back then in the 16th, 17th, 18th, (etc), centuries, especially for those brave men who ventured out to sea in search of new lands in the name of their loved king or queen. ABSOLUTELY fascinating to watch these efforts tackled thanks to Giles and Sue who conjured up the idea... sheer brilliance.

  • wow....a restaurant critic that can't detect saffron?? LOL..I hope he's not critiquing the food!!! I guess I'm in the minority, but I think he's disgusting. He needs to learn to keep his mouth shut when there is food in it...especially on camera!! LOFL #fools

  • hmmm chinese practise, cupping...

  • @salemgirl123 totally agree with you. I hate it when people say something horrible for no reason

  • Now that's what I call playing with your food!

  • Ohh Giles doing the "cupping" and explaining how the noise was his life force being sucked out of him, made me laugh so much!! Love this show :)

  • @canadianwoman1961 dnt have to insult the chef. for something you dnt even know if it happend or not =w=

  • @canadianwoman1961 How would you know? Were you there? I don't think so

  • Sue's laugh when Paul says there's no saffron; delightful.

  • I want to play with that jelly

  • I wish they'd explain what each dish was a little more fully...some of us viewers have now idea what are 'suckets' or 'hippocras' ! (off to Google them..)

  • he didn't eat the sheep's eye for losing the bet!

  • While Messr. Corin looks rather raffish in every period costume,Ms Perkins looks as though she's been dragged behind a horse in each outfit...wonder if it's intentional?

  • @teufelstaub its just her hair it conflicts with the peroid costumes check out the war time one she has a wig its better

  • i LOVE the fact you can hear the chef chuckling at their shock.... right before the door closes behind him. LOL

  • Hehe for some funny reason I DON'T think they played jelly-volleyball while dining in Elizabeth England

  • Love that whole exchange about the saffron - or lack thereof - in the tart. Honestly this must be the greatest job ever!

  • omg he's such a baby i got a tattoo and i didnt make that much fuss

  • This was by far my favourite episode! Sue is such a crack up, i love it when she describes the homemade wine, and the make-up which turned one's face into a "fleshy landslide" lol, also Giles' face when he chews that ear (or was it the nostril?) of the pig! hilarious!

  • I just read that Gile's wife is expecting...what a cool dad he'd be.

  • @WayToSaveTheWorld I dunno about that...he caused a great scandal when he said some really unacceptable things (even jokingly) about a child on twitter. Something tells me he really perverse...

  • @TheBeerunners Those comments were *exactly* what anyone who has suffered through a kid playing a DRUM all day thinks to themselves.

  • @WayToSaveTheWorld

i hope his son or daughter isn't a fussy eater. he's going to want to take his kid out dining from a young age. becuase he's got such a passion for food. you know how fussy kids can be.

  • @prezidentey2 ...i was just about to write that!

  • This is my first time watching the show, but I freakin love it!

  • I wonder if the cooks on this show get pissed off with them throwing the food around that they've been cooking for hours?! I'd rather throw some of that stuff than eat it but I do feel sorry for the guys slaving in the kitchen all day only to have their food treated like that!
