  • i love cha ca la vong...that place is the best!!

  • @channel131guy do you probably remember where that place was exactly??

  • Calle Cha Ca 14, Hanoi.

  • GREAT VIDEO !!!

As a native of New Orleans I love the fact that there is a "French Quarter" in Hanoi and a "French Quarter" in New Orleans.

I got this video from a Vietnamese YouTube Friend. He is so sweet and kind.

I was filled with many emotions watching this... thinking of him ... thinking of our shared history... thinking of so much... thinking of Shared Humanity.

  • "...bác hồ nhà ta còn "trinh" ..."

  • hanoi is very nice and beautiful. the nights there are very nice also, especially the night market. :o)

  • That fish meal looks so delicious.

I like Vietnamese foods in general, so I wanna try that too!! :D

By the way, the flood of bikes on the street is fascinating..!

  • yeah...it was awesome! i wanted to go back again but we ran out of time.

  • its amazing how all those motorcycles and no crashes when people walk through

  • yeah..from what i understand, the crashes happen if you walk across and then stop suddenly...that's why i was telling her "do not break your pace." and believe it or not, that was a pretty mild intersection compared to what we saw. saigon is 100 times more hectic.

  • i almost got hit by a bike in vietnam b/c my new york instinct kicked in, i saw a bike coming and i thought it was going to hit me so i ran quickly forward. at the moment i ran forward, he also turned in that direction. "DO YOU HAVE DEATHWISH?!!" is what the guy on the motorbike said to me lol. my best advice for anyone going to vietnam is if you're going to cross the street, walk forward in a steady pace, the cars will avoid you, if you try to avoid them, you'll die lol

  • you know what. i read something about that in a tour book and it says you should always just keep a steady pace and they will go around you. so that's what i tried to do. but it is scary when they are coming at you and turning the last minute. i guess the drivers there are just used to it.

  • Theres so many motorcycles!

  • amazing as always.

  • much appreciated!! i will have a few other videos from other parts of vietnam out soon...stay tuned. (and another japan too.)

  • NICE!!! You should try thailand its very cultural and friendly

  • yeah...i think that's the next trip for us. maybe next year?? any suggestions where to go?

  • Emerald Buddha temple, its very nice. This is what you say to monks or people "Sai Bai Dee" its like hello

  • I always love your videos!!, Shanghai, Hong Kong, Japan and this time Vietnam!! But sadly this time your mate Matt didn't come! anyway, Keep it up and looking forward for your next video!!
