Also, what's this game like? Is it all just naval and air combat, is there any ground fighting such as infantry, marine landings tank warfare and such? Never the less though the air fighting seems very interesting, would be great for dogfighting on multiplayer.

Im all about on-line game play but the solo games are actually very entertaining and challenging at times. As for dog fighting, yes you can do it but there is not many details on the aircraft to utilise. Just stick and throttle.

it's the AA guns, green for ready to fire, yellow positioning gun and red out of range/not able to fire

its the AA, or artilery, or torpedos, green is ready to fire, yellow moving to target, red unable to fire so various reasons and black out of order/destroyed, depending on the ship there might be less or more dots

I played Midway and I have to say they kinda messed up the reloading system. I mean you pretty much have infinite bombs on your planes now so that kinda takes away a bit from the realism aspect of the game and will make planes pretty much a very cheap way of winning. all you do is pretty much just horde a bunch of them and attack then just let them fly around close by till they reload and rinse and repeat.
