I love this song! It is such a classic from the Gaither Vocal Band. It is good to see they are still going strong. I do miss Jonathan Pierce, Guy Penrod, and Mark Lowry though.

@TheAmbivalency hi...i dont mean to burst your bubble....but Angels do not sing...in fact, they cant sing...you will not read in the scriptures anywhere where angels sing. I bet you are saying" well, i know Luke chapter 2 where present at the birth of our Lord Jesus....the wonderful story where all the angels sang.... what about that?" if you read it...it says" and the angels.....Said..." The Revelation has the word Angels 76 times....they never sing..they can only Speak..

I got this from " A Night Spent With The Gaither Trio ( Bill, Danny and Gloria) a 2 set -"Album" LP believe it or not! Such a wonder~full example of their great and unique individual gifts & was an immense blessing to see them in that tour - my only time in person! The auditorium 'became family' as the concert became worship. Glorious to feel ! Thank You!

@oogwocfi Michael's always been good. But what you see and hear here? Michael fell away for a long time, and it was many years even after his return to the Lord that he was given a shot in Christian music. He will not stop celebrating and worshiping.

That little dance you saw Mark almost do? Mark was one of his best friends and staunchest supporters. Mark Lowry was possibly happier than anyone other than the Lord Jesus when Michael returned.

The best-blending BGVs I ever heard were on Larnelle Harris' song...."Didn't You Know?". The male trio of vocalists were Michael English, Guy Penrod, and Mike Eldred.

Also, look at "Surely He Hath Borne our Griefs" from The New Young Messiah. Michael, Larnelle, and Steve Green are OUTSTANDING and it took me (who listened to virtually NOTHING except those three guys for 5 years - so I KNOW their voices) a while to figure out who was on which part.

"Highly sought-after," was an assumption, I'll admit. The assumption was based on all of the times I saw his name on album liner notes from albums in the mid 80's to early 90's (which I went searching for in 93/94 when I personally first discovered Michael).

Don't get me wrong....I'm not saying it came up as often as the name Marty McCall, Guy Penrod, or Mike Eldred from that era...but his name sure did come up often enough for me to make the assumption that he was "in demand."

@bighugephil When was it you seen them cause if it was the last 6 months of the year Michael went through back surgery and they had to go though his neck and move the Vocal Cordes so he was struggling pretty bad last year.
