Most songs in the first albums Chester has a chorus effect, that should explain the multiple voices in is voice as they say, I'm not sure about the later songs/albums , did not bother listening to them.All the albums rocked until minutes to midnight(which was already moving towards another direction . .

Chester has a great control on his voice. His voice is good but not too good. Nearly ever-one can copy his voice simply by by closing the nostrils. But it requires a very big deal of practice to get a control like him.

They can both scream very well( Listen to Slipknot and Staind), and can sing any other kind of song and sound good doing it. Chester is amazing at the screams, but couldnt match either of them in any other area.
