  • lacquer head knows no in-betweens, huffin on bags of gasoline

  • Small touch, but I absolutely love how you fade the album cover in at the begging.

  • Wow didn´t know this song was produced by Fred Durst.

  • @Rejito Les Claypool does a little..I dunno if you would call it skit or not o: but other outro on Significant Other he does this weird little thing :D

  • GENIALES,COMO SIEMPRE

  • 146 noobs and 2 primus die hard fans

  • ok ok lets all calm down and for those who do not know "primus sucks" was created by primus as a compliment meaning theyre good.

  • primus is the only reason i play bass!

  • the person below must close their legs i smell fish :P

  • @freddythefish100 lmao disgusting

  • @hellbelley lol

  • this songs not even hard to play u just need a delay pedal

  • I'll be honest; after listening to this song, I didn't give a shit about sitting in front of the TV hours a day.

  • seen them live 3 times, loved every second, man i wish i just had a gram of their skill......they are so talented!

  • BOTTSR sucks

  • This song s so awesome that the music video was banned from MTV!

  • primus sucks!!!

  • @appleklok Pathetic mortal bow down to the great Primus you ignorant fool.

  • @DrunkenMonkeyErect Hehehehe, I think you know what he meant. Bad boy. Bad, bad boy.

  • @DrunkenMonkeyErect look up primus sucks you might learn something.

  • @appleklok You suck!!!

  • I just found out that the bastard on guitar helped create the death metal genre. I must say WTF?

  • @S0m3kind0fm0nst3R could you explain that to me please? No disrespect intended, just hoping to learn something.

  • @skateboardNsnow44 Ler LaLonde was in the band possessed, which was technically thrash metal, but had elements of death metal. Their first album came out a bit before Death's 'Scream Bloody Gore" which is technically the first true death metal album, and Chuck Schuldiner (Death's guitarist, RIP) has cited them as an influence to his music. Hope that clears it up

  • @S0m3kind0fm0nst3R Yes, but Ler saw the light and decided to get out of it.

  • @BrettDixonMusic What do mean saw the light? there are death metal bands out there who do more than try and act brutal, just listen to voice of the soul by death. Some people actually focus on trying to make music. I don't care what genre of music a band plays if they're making great music.

  • Who disliked this? Come on.. Own up..

  • @ItsYourBlood hahahaha

  • fuck yea primus sucks !

  • It saddens me that this album is a one of a kind... Primus is known for being "anti-pop", but this was their most well rounded well written album in my opinion... I can listen to every song on it and appreciate it... whereas most of their other albums have sparks of "amazing" wrapped in blanket songs that don't have all cylinders firing... I think Primus is at their best as a jam band... these songs are so powerful... I wish they'd do another one like "Anti-pop"

  • @DeEzriel I think this album is more suited for a wider audience (and I mean that in a negative way). Brown Album is by far the best, in my opinion. Or maybe not by far; Sailing The Seas Of Cheese is right up the alley.

  • @leirgauk This was actually the only album that they allowed other people (outside influences) to voice their opinions about the songs. Fred Durst was one of the producers and James Hetfield (among others) helped them with certain parts of it. It was more of a collaboration album, along with their original sound that made this album what it was. Guess I'm one of those people that refuses to like something just because it's different... it has to be different AND well written.

  • @leirgauk I like a lot of Primus' music, but then there's a lot of it that I hate because it's like they are playing "weird" stuff... just for the sake of it. I feel the same way about Meshuggah... their first few albums were amazing mixes of old school thrash metal, with matchmatically brain melting time signatures.. but now... many years later... they play off-time riffs for the sake of being off-time and focus less on the quality of their music.. then again, some people like it that way...

  • @DeEzriel I get what you're saying, and you have to be in a certain mood to be able to enjoy the weirdness - you certainly can't be happy as a rainbow. Combine that with being really stoned, and you're all set to groove out, man! Personally, I can't stand most metal, especially the black and screamy stuff. And Primus differs a lot from most of the music I listen to (as they tend to do), but is still one of my fav bands. I even love their really weird stuff.

  • @DeEzriel I Actually enjoyed Obzen, especially Lathargica, but i get it. Some of it can be a little stale, but when you've already written everything worth listening to ever, it would hard to make new songs, lol. And in my opinion, catch 33 was Meshuggah's high point.

  • @S0m3kind0fm0nst3R I guess that's the beauty of having different tastes in music... bands can change their sound and still have fans, : )... but of course it sucks for fans of the old sound, haha... because they keep waiting for something that sounds "good" to "them", but it may never happen, and I think we are all like that about one band or another... and I know what you're saying about running out of material... I'm a musician and understand completely, but I would be happy if they just went

  • @S0m3kind0fm0nst3R back to old school/off time metal like they were... and honestly.. they've put out several albums in their career, but not enough to have complete thrash writers block... hell.. even Metallica put out something that bested their recent efforts... so it can be done, it just has to be willed by the band... and I don't see Meshuggah wanting to go back to their old sound... either way.. they've still got a few decent songs here and there (for me).. so I'll keep up with them

  • 1:09 is just mind melting

  • He did the theme song for South Park and Robot Chicken.

  • this should have also been on "They can't all be Zingers"

  • I got thius CD at like 12 and had no idea what the hell it was. I am still glad I put it in my DVD player :)

  • @soultrane20, yes, he's awesome too... any link to download his solo album??'

  • simply awesome... would become my idol in the bass guitar... he's a perfect performer.

  • Wasn't the music video banned on MTV for "supporting drug use" or some bullshit like that?

  • BRAINS

  • theres no sound

  • good song im a fan

  • one person's brain didn't go pop...

  • FUck yeAH

  • Freddie D produced this? Nice

  • @RKOboring9 Yeah I had no clue Durst produced this either. I knew they toured together on the family values tour back in the 90's but that's it.

  • Flea better? haha! ok man first of all Flea wouldnt even keep up with Les. and why compare them?? these guys are in defferent GENRES!! they are both GOOD at what they do! damn! its like comparing Jimi Hendrix with Carlos Santana.. but hey everyone has their own opinion

  • Flea is way better than him

  • @GarethToye1 .... are you serious???????

  • @mikey12093 Yes

  • @GarethToye1 Flea is not even in the same league, my man.

  • @GarethToye1 lol flea was better?? lol how dumb are you?! its not even close. flea couldn't even keep up on some of the most simple primus songs

  • @doggin6

Claypool does as much slapping, popping and tapping as possible to try and make his songs good, Flea is a far better bassist who knows when enough is enough. He can do far more with a handful of notes than Claypool can with an entire fretboard

  • @GarethToye1 So, you're saying that a bassist with far less skill in the department of advanced bass techniques is better because he uses far less of said advanced bass techniques? ...your stupidity has surprised me in a way I previously thought impossible. Congratulations. Perhaps you'd next like to say that Poe was too depressing, or that Shakespeare used too many big words?

  • @CourtJackal001 What advanced techniques? I'm saying he's better because he can make better use of timing and silence. I doubt you'd understand

  • @GarethToye1 I do not now, nor will i ever, claim to understand your stupidity. It must be some abnormality in the brain that makes you think that a musician is better for playing less music. Consider this, Primus is a bass driven band, RHCP is not. Would it not make sense that the one writing the song would play more rather than less on it? You know what, i'm not going to argue with you about this, it does me no good to match wits with someone foolish enough to compare these two.

  • lacquer head ! about time i seen the album version !

  • @1eyehategod agree on that one! :)

  • @1eyehategod <------------- i hate that name you shouldnt hate god

  • @IDCSignMYButt009 Sorry that in the united states we have religious freedom and you can hate whoever you want/believe in whoever you want.

  • @IDCSignMYButt009

    eyehategod are a band, dipshit.

  • @IDCSignMYButt009 Why not? God basically orders the deaths of 2,476,633 in the Bible.. Satan kills around 10.. um.. who was the bad guy supposed to be again

  • this song is fuckin awesome! thank you for uploading the album version.

  • @BLCKFLAME666 you're welcome :)

  • setting my skull on fire right now

  • How anyone can play a bassline like that that fast still eludes me.

  • @CH37005 Les Claypool is just that awesome. He's the Chuck Norris of bass.

  • @scatzilla99 No, Chuck Norris is a faggot, he's more like the Jesus of bass.

  • @CH37005 That also works.

  • @CH37005 it's not so bad honnestly!

  • @CH37005 It took me about two days to learn it, but I still have trouble with the part at 1:09. Because that's ridiculous.

  • @CH37005 I can play it :P

  • @CH37005 I can, But it took me forever, and I'm really not that good... Sometimes I wonder if Les is ALWAYS on crack...

  • @CH37005 only one answer... he's GOD!

  • @CH37005 don't forget he sings as well. MULTITASK!

  • @CH37005 use your thumb like a pick, up and down like a pick

  • @LadyNarkotix Thanks for that.

  • It's about damn time somebody uploads the studio version of this song.
