Just ordered this exact knife. Had to go to a cutlery store so that I could hold it in hand and make sure it wasn't too big. It fit perfectly. Too bad the store was selling it for nearly twice as much as online otherwise I would have picked it up then. I can't wait til it's here.
That knife has even cut a little concrete here and there, but with a few strokes on the diamond,it's back to hair popping sharp again. It continues to be an excellent edc.
Looks just like my Delica 4 FFG which has seen some action on construction sites / scrap yards where I've worked. Holds up remarkably well for such a light-weight knife - clean it up and sharpen it and it keeps truckin'.
Yeah cold steel and ka bar teflon isn't thee best coating for wear resistance, but nice for cutlery use. Benchmade Is pretty good and crkt/gerber tini aren't bad coatings either. Old carbon v coatings hold up good
very cool! im more of a gun guy,but i do appreciate a quality blade.i recently purchased a cold steel spartan, for protection & im also using a $10 kershaw crown just for lite duty edc use.the kershaw is razor sharp & very big bang for a few bucks,& the spartan is a beast man! Now i want a spyderco. Not sure what model i want but i love the blade design on the para m. i definitly want a 4in blade though.im still contemplating, but i see 1 in the near future! great vid brother!
I am in the same biz and I did all the same stuff to my paramilitary 2 and now I am using the cqc 15 mini only because I got it a few days a go but I bet you I will go back to it :)
I love those Para2s but I just cant afford that price tag for a knife. Even if the quality maches or surpasses its price. As usual, great vid and have a great one, Cajun!
that is easily fixed just follow the shape of the blade and gentle file it down from hill to tip and in the end smooth it out gently remember that is the key and it will be back to nearly new again you'll see but u will have to resharpen it though
my brother does construction too. i shudder everytime i see one of his blades. lol. the coating that kershaw uses on their leeks wears just as awesome. goodstuff that dlc coating
for my money the PM2 is the best EDC knife out there. Tough as nails, stays sharp, and locks up solid. all for right at 110 bucks. you gotta be kidding me.
It looks like it holds up pretty good. I got my dad a Spydie for his Bday and I keep it maintained for him, That thing get pretty rusty some times bc he sweats so hard w/ it in his pocket.
I think your bro needs a thicker more durable blade.

The Construction business is a knife's roughest arena but a man's best friend. I love to see a well used blade.

it would be cool if the did the dlc coating on the pocket clip too.

Great follow up, thanks! Looks to me that your brother needs a RAT-1 in the satin finish.

Spyderco's coating on the Para2 in my opinion is above Kershaw and many other knife companies.
